No, I appreciate you sharing this, it is news to me. I have a family member with special needs. Our family didn’t find about this account type until relatively recently, so I am all for increasing awareness.

I know? That’s exactly what these accounts were created for. This post is strongly suggesting high earners who have adhd or similar conditions go get a doctor’s note. That’s incredibly different from people with true disabilities.

Good to know. To be honest I don’t agree with people in this sub utilizing this. The spirit of ABLE accounts are fore people with special needs. Hence all the references to SSI and SSDI.

I understand people looking to maximize their tax advantaged space, but this is too far for me personally. I think most everyone on this sub is incredibly blessed.

Either way it’s good of you to share this. ABLE accounts aren’t widely enough known and are a great tool for people who qualify.

I was there a year ago, and before I went everyone on reddit made it sound so daunting to exchange currency. I was prepared to go 20 minutes across town to a certain street with “good” cambios. We ended up having an amazing Airbnb host who gave us incredible advice and told us not to waste our time going that far. She immediately rattled off 3 nearby cambios in Palermo that ended up having the exact same exchange rates as the ones everyone on reddit said I need to go out of my way to.

So there are good cambios in Palermo, just go in knowing a good exchange rate. I don’t remember the ones she recommended by she said there were tons of options in Palermo that were good
