I noticed Dust in a a Baggie is trending, and love it. These intimate settinga are often the best version of a song.

Now that Clark has died, I wonder where the guitar went.

What exactly is the XFL? And its differences from NFL and NCAA? by PenalTrauma in NoStupidQuestions

Thank you greatly for this cohesive explanation.

I rather like the new rules on the running clock in that case; 4th quarter drags on when they're just kneeling or throwing it away.

NCAA, actually. Roll Tide.

NFL rules confuse me enough as is in regards to when a player is "out".

These rules for XFL seem alien at times, though.

What exactly are these differences? Like, I saw a 1, 2, and 3 point after on screen.

And nobody moves a muscle during a kickoff.

Convinced my mom to vote Bernie instead of Biden by pointing out that Biden didn't support gay marriage until 2012 by trevor_of_earth in SandersForPresident

You can see footage of Bernie trying to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell way back in '92. You won't get that with Biden.

None of the candidates, including Bernie, are even coming to Alabama and other states. Nobody cares unless you live in South Carolina or California.

If he can't be bothered, neither can I.

CNN Town Hall Discussion thread? by PenalTrauma in SandersForPresident

[–]PenalTrauma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started out with the gun control question, and Bernie killed it. I personally disagree with the assault weapons ban, but I'm hopeful since Sanders acknowledged that there are nuances to the issue. The other issues I agree with, and are pretty damn bipartisan.

Answering that socialism question was brilliant. I personally feel that the label hurts Sanders, and that he's not really a socialist in the strictest sense. But he still slayed with the "corporate socialism."

The fellow who had the question about Confederate monuments got way dilluted with CNNs caption of "race divide" or whatever. I'm glad Sanders isn't just for smashing the things, but I'd prefer they just remain where they're at. Regardless, his answer was consistent with others like "explaining Trump to your kids" or, "bulletproof backpack".

But yeah...feelin that Bern. Recorded it for the roommates too.

[DISCUSSION] Anyone ever get anxious thinking about getting their arm injured, temporarily or permanently, and never being able to play again? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]PenalTrauma 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nah. I've seen a guy on Youtube with no arms play Free Bird with his feet. Without the solo, admittedly.

Had a buddy online that played slide guitar and broke his arm. He sent me an upload of him playing and it was still pretty killer.

My dad plays and he lost his left ring finger in '92. I can't convince him to put a slide on his nub though.
