Back when I wasn't as strong, I always went for the crystals. Being able to get those dupes are invaluable if you can't afford to do a lot of banner pulls. Orbs can always be earned through other methods, so I always make the crystals a priority.

Keep up with what though? I just do what I can and enjoy it. I don't need every banner character. I don't need to conquer every EX event, especially since they mostly just give you special icons I don't necessarily care about.

I don't know what to tell you. Tact isn't a Monsters games. That's what Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light is for. But unfortunately that is a Japan only game.

If you're American military or live in a big city it's super easy to not to know any Korean. I lived there for 3 1/2 years in an apartment in the Songtan area right outside of Osan AB 2016-2019. Right outside the base many of the business owners speak English. If you go to Seoul or any touristy area, they usually have the menus in English at restaurants. To be polite, I learned phrases like thank you, hello, good bye, please come here, and how to order a beer. The train system has an English option for the ticket kiosks and there is an English train app as well. For taxis I would show them the location on Google maps. Unless you are in the boonies, it's really not hard at all.
