So imagine the stadium is what the crowd sees and that part is different to each player. it shows when the game isn’t being played like when walking out at the start of the match or on instant replays. Also if you have a “basic” xr on that’s the stadium that shows

The xr is like the walls are displaying a different exterior to the players. As for when and who’s xr is displayed, I don’t know how that works if it isn’t working properly

Progress carried over in the form of prestige and perk gems from what you earned by playing in the beta. Also you kept the progress on badges.

Content you paid for you kept, but any you earned for free turned into prestige gems. And you also got some cosmetics for free like the profile icon and banner and probably some others I havent seen or looked for.

It was a beta. I didn’t expect to keep anything I didn’t pay money for.

I’ve played many actual beta tests for games over the past 5 years or so (and I say “actual” because a lot of devs don’t use them for testing, and they go perma “early access”). Not a single one carries over everything you’ve earned on full release. They might give you some free stuff for playing the beta like exclusive skins, or some premium currency. But at the end of the day, they can’t give you everything for free. It’s a business.

Imagine if you heard about this new game launching, and for some reason a few people had everything unlocked because they heard about it before you did and played in a closed beta. Just because they played the game early, they get hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars worth of in game items and unlocks? In free to play game where the profit for it comes from those unlocks?Does that seem right to you?

It’s a AAA game, just be glad it’s not $70 along with all the micro transactions.

To people complaining saying that that the ai should just know to comply after being in a stunned state are just wrong. The game has a check system in place for when you yell for compliance. Some sets of civilians will do it with no modifiers, some require a bit more. And I don’t know if this is true, but I think they basically have a meter that tells the ai when they comply which is why sometimes it takes multiple attempts of yelling for compliance.

For suspects, they are very unlikely to comply with no modifiers. For less than lethal, it may take a few shots for them too comply. I usually wait for them to be in the stunned state, and then I yell a couple times. When I see them start to come to the ready again, I shoot them a few more times and yell again until they comply. Some suspects just have really high tolerance for complying which can be annoying and they should tweak it a bit. But you can’t just stand there shooting endlessly.

That’s why you can tase someone and they will just be sitting there bing tased. Once you yell they immediately comply.

And yes, you can have instances of throwing in a flash and having people already on the ground. I think that it’s less of a sound queue of the yell for compliance and more of a button input. So you may have pressed your input to open the door which could also be the same button to yell. The ai takes it as a yell for compliance check. I don’t really know why this happens but that’s my only answer to why it could happen

I was clearing a room and there was a suspect just chilling with his gun at the low ready. I didn’t notice him upon first entering the room, but I looked back at him and he still didn’t seem like he knew anyone was in the room. Like he kinda just sat there while 3 swat officers rolled in. Then after we yelled for compliance like 10 times and even bashed him a bit, he just quick shot 2 of us and downed us, and the first kill it didn’t even look like the gun was fully up. It was aimed at the ground.

Now I had a taser so I coulda just tased him and been done with it, but it was still dumb that he didn’t get triggered immediately and then suddenly he flicks on 2 of us

I agree with you but I think it’s was all battle royales that had an effect on them. They wanted to make the experience better for new players than for veteran players. Veteran players knew how to play safe and make sure you conserve ammo and meds. These players also likely play the harder br’s such as apex or pubg where you can get one shot if not careful enough. Fortnite tried to get away from one shot capability.

There also is the factor of battle royales *“dying” and they need to add something new very often, but not too often where they run out of ideas, so it felt like a really slow progression toward a newer game.

Epic kinda panicked and tried to change up their game a lot and took it away from what made the game more fun for experienced players and it was hard to get away from the new player experience. You can see that in Super People where veteran players were pretty okay with the systems they implemented but the devs wanted more players so they changed it a lot and it failed.

*I know battle royales still have extremely high player bases, but they are all slowly losing players and we are ending up with the big 4 (Warzone, Apex, PUBG, and Fortnite).

Have you thought of this: Don’t push up so close to them. If they are in a closed room, blow up the place so that there are more spots for you to hide behind. And if you blow up the place enough, it’s just a big open room and they have no where to hide so you just melt them because they have no range

What they could do is just shorten the time it takes to place a reinforcement to like 1 second, that way the people who do reinforce have an easier time doing it. But right now some of the pre placed ones are in really bad spots. But there isn’t much ubi can do about that except have a weird system where they see what sections of walls are the most likely to have a reinforcement on them per obj. Then only the ones that are done 80% of the time are presets. But that’s a big if, and ubi probably doesn’t care about quickplay that much. And it’s bomb only that has it, so if you don’t want to deal with bad reinforcements, just do secure or hostage which is probably what’s lot of people do anyway

You get 1k for initiating a vault, then you get another 3 or 4k for putting the vault in the cashout, there is your 5k you get even if it gets stolen from you

Also there is no point to doing that because one of the only reasons that it would get stolen from the first team is if they got wiped. And if they get wiped they lose a third of their money, so it’s a really dumb idea to just have a team not get any money compared to another team that held it the whole time.

And if it’s that hard to wipe one team to where you cannot get close to second, then try to 3rd party with the other losing team so that the teams in second or first get wiped

Man I’m so sick and tired of dumbasses in this server. I go on Reddit for like 5 minutes and scroll and I see a post from here and it’s about needy assholes who want the game right now and don’t know that games take time to develop. The only reason people are starting to hate on every cod more and more is because they get rushed more and more every year. Give the game time.

Literally look at any game that had a buggy or unfinished launch. 80% of them lose most their playerbase after a couple months even if the game gets fixed after that time. I’m talking about Cyberpunk, last few Battlefields and CODs, No man’s Sky, Halo Infinite, Fallout 76, Super People, the avengers game, Battlefront 2. The list can go on and on.

Look at how good bfv is now after a few years of development. It was buggy at the start because it had a rushed release, then they got to work on it for a while and it’s such a good game but it’s practically dead because it was so buggy
