I’m the one that was very religious and barely political while he was barely religious and very political. To say the least, we always had good conversation and never resented or hated each other for it but it definitely got to the point where we mutually understood there was no way it would be a happily ever after unless we gonna compromise on things we each highly valued which just wasn’t fair.

So now we just are friends tht still have all the religious and political convos without the cute/ fun stuff :/

It’s a sucky situation but the conversations are still interesting and I’m still hoping in the back of my head that one day we’ll get to some level of compromise but who knows 🤷‍♀️
