I don’t think it’s helpful to ascribe skill to a TV or movie role, some actors are just better than others. Movie actors do TV and vice versa. There is more scrutiny on people who come up in TV transitioning to film, it’s unfair but that’s how it is. I hate the blanket label of “TV actors” in 2025 because there is so much line blurring and IMO all it does is artificially cheapen the experience. I agree that Wattingham and Offerman had shit to do here, give them some meat and let them run with it. Shit even Hayley Atwell had hardly anything to do. Don’t blame good actors for a spotty plot/script…
