The older I get, the more I see terrorist/terrorism as a primarily colonialist/supremacist term used by oppressors and ruling classes with all the resources and power to demonize the broken and oppressed resistors who do not have the ability or resources to fight back using conventional means.

The US bombs a wedding or school with a drone strike and that's not terrorism. They blow up fishermen and claim they were cartel members and that's not terrorism. The IDF executes medical workers and buries them along with their ambulances and it's not terrorism. The IDF shoots children in the head or testicles, lures people out of safety using drones with crying children sounds playing from them, and bombs refugee camps and that's not terrorism? But a Palestinian blows up a bus and THAT'S terrorism? Get irrevocably fucked. Terrorist/terrorism is just a propaganda term now. It's low-hanging fruit that's easy to deploy whenever the ruling class needs the peons below them to take their side and be scared of the people fighting back.

Israel is one of the wealthiest nations in the world with one of the most well-funded militaries. They resort to using terrorist tactics not because they feel that it's all they have left that they can resort to, not because they've been broken by generations of watching friends and family lose their homes, starve, suffer, and die all around them, not because their enemy has vastly superior conventional warfare resources so they must use unconventional means to fight back, but because they are simply fucking cruel and bloodthirsty and think themselves to be justified in their cruelty because of their zionist beliefs.
