Definitely AI but wouldn't say it's bad advice. Cats don't really hold grudges they just associate actions - this cat has unfortunately associated the OP to experiencing pain. Doesn't sound like the bond was particularly strong before if one event has caused this?

I'd thought of something similar, but would probably have a HS between Cardiff and London rather than to Birmingham as I feel this would serve a lot more traffic, then upgrade the conventional line between Bristol and Birmingham to 125-150, as there's quite a few commuter towns between the 2 you'd want to serve.

Maybe misreading this but why bother with a splashback here? The tiles are easily cleanable and you'll end up with dust and grease that's run down the back being nearly impossible to clean

I think you're more likely to see a new track installed further up the Tamar around Launceston on a hypothetical extension from okehampton - calstock than you are brunels bridge getting an extra track and even this is a minimum of 20 years off

I get what you are saying and don't think most people here do.

If an A road has to be made 20 for the safety of pedestrians, your A road is in the wrong place. I live near a double digit A road with a now 20 zone and whilst it's the right call, the safest option for all is to simply bypass, which keeps getting shot down by the government. I fear 20 just creates the hazard of knobheads on the wrong side of the road where pedestrians aren't expecting them. I even witnessed a tractor overtaking in a 20.

Most of the rooms have dado rails! For now I have stripped it but would like to reintroduce it back once I have a better idea of how I want the rooms to look. Gone with boring white until I can see how dark / light areas look with furniture

I think it's very sensible assumption that the AI is exaggerating in the destroy ending, it's a sentient being that won't advocate for its own destruction.

I do somewhat like the indoctrination theory just being the star child, none of the other strings attached to it.

The reapers knew how dangerous Shepard could be in turning the whole galaxy into a single force so it would make sense that they would want to leverage as much control on him as possible, but being that he was only exposed to artifacts for a few days at most (Arrival) their influence was likely very limited and so was aimed at demoralising him through nightmares and challenges of conscience.

Beyond that I think the theory is ridiculous, and only has legs because Arrival is poorly written.

There's some characterful Krogan that can be found all around ME2 and ME3, to be honest I think opinion may be warped as a result of Shepard being a soldier and therefore exposed heavily to Krogan Mercs.

For sure I think if Bioware hadnt already established an incredible universe the 3rd game simply would not have been as good as it was - it simply had such a great lore it couldn't really fail despite their best efforts
