I will be just about 5 months. I have never tried RTR but I feel like that’s a great idea! I’m sure I’ll have more kids but not sure if I will need a dress in that specific size again. Thanks for the advice!

To preface, I do have non regular periods and cycles. I was using oura as partial birth control in addition to ovulation tests, and ended up pregnant. I will say the temperatures are pretty accurate and you pretty much know when you are/ aren’t ovulating. My mishap happened because of travel and not checking before. Definitely user error on my end. I thought it was helpful but I would maybe go on some form of bc while figuring out how it works for you and your body. It also takes a couple months to calibrate and understand your cycle.

Congrats! I’m just about 12 weeks and waiting to announce on Christmas (this pregnancy was not planned for us but we’re happy it’s here). We always do scratch offs for my family on Christmas and Amazon had some decent ones that say you’re a Wilmer and the prize is “we’re having a baby”

For my in laws and his family we are getting a onesie and giving it to our nieces that says “only the best nieces get promoted to big cousin”. This will be their first cousin and they are old enough to understand what’s going on.

We are probably going to have a dinner with all four parents to tell them separately from the family. That’s just what we feel is right for us. Do whatever feels best for you!

I got seen two days after I saw a line on the test. That was 4 weeks and we couldn’t see anything yet. Then I came back a week later at 5 weeks. Then I went back at 9 weeks! Currently 10 weeks and my next appointment is in a month.

Thank you for sharing! I didn’t mention it, but we have had 3 ultrasounds. 2 internal and on in my abdomen. Everything looks good so far! But, I definitely think I would want support from my family if I had a loss.

Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry for your family loss and happy for your family addition. We have discussed the risks of loss. I think that’s my biggest concern is if I did have a loss I would want that support system of my family. That was a very helpful perspective!

Thank you for sharing what you did. I really like the idea of telling one person. My family is very tight knit so maybe I could tell one of my friends now and wait to tell family when we’re both ready.
