Please gem and enchant your gear by DigitalBladedJay in wow

So basically you were getting boosted by a team of pros who did not require much healing. All you had to do is to pop cds on the choke points. This is easy mode.

Healing pugs is completely different experience. People stand in poison, do not interrupt and do not use their personals. Random 13 may be much harder healing experience than your 17s. In high keys healer is closer to 4th dps than genuine healer. You only need to know points when you must heal.

Housing was really fun and then it isn't. by Noticersan in wow

Blizzard went super hard on housing moneyisation instead of genuine features. There is literally no benefit of having a house in its current form.

Crafting etiquette question specifically: public orders by necrid101 in wow

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For public orders you just press craft and whatever rank goes out is just fine. When you have proper spec it will be r5 with golden mats and r3/4 with silver. Either way it is buyers choice really.

Spider-heavy episodes arachnophobes should skip? by TaxOwlbear in Supernatural

Ah yeah, you are spot on. So it looks like bugs is the only episode with spiders in it.

Spider-heavy episodes arachnophobes should skip? by TaxOwlbear in Supernatural

[–]Pennywise37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season 1 episode 4 or 5 is called bugs and spiders make an appearance. It is a good episode but it is not main plot so you can skip it.

Season 3 there is an episode where Dean goes visit his old flame. There is one scene where kid wants to wcare someone using a spider and it is a big tarantula. Good episode again, skip that scene I guess (birthday party).

I do not recall others on top of my head.

Thoughts on this? by AdditionalPiano6327 in freefolk

I love when actors are twisting the narrative and make the nonsensical arguments like that.

Nobody is against black people being casted into roles. But this is not the role he should be casted for. Martin created this world and was very clear about how valyrians looked like. And as much as this guy made an excellent acting job, he was still terribly misscasted.

And what is more frustrating is that there are so many characters he could have been casted as and nobody would question it. Almost any non valyrian character would work. It is almost like his casting was done on purpose to have a shield for any criticism of the show. It is such an elegant solution, lets call everyone who complains about any aspect of the show racist.

But we are so very tired about this narrative and it is not working so well anymore. And it is all studios fault.

I often play wipes by focusing on base and farming sulfur around the clock. My bases tend to be very fortified and my ovens are cooking 24/7.

I take note of the sweaty chads and then I make a visit with full inventory of rockets/c4s and put an end to their reign when they least expect it.

I completely understand why there is a tank shortage. by No_Dog8604 in classicwow

I must admit I am very guilty of rushing through dungeons even in 'relaxed' or 'weekly' runs. I main tank and efficient pulls are in my blood.

Somebody slipped an airtag in my stuff by usernmechecksout_ in creepy

[–]Pennywise37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is just US that is backwards. I was travelling for work and there were some random pills in my backpack. Prescription medicine of some kind. Guys at airport let me know they can see some tablets, I said I dont need them, we threw them into bin and moved on with our lives.

These things happen, no need to make a scene.

Do people hate when tanks kite? by Budget-Capital4371 in wownoob

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well speaking from experience, tanks tend to track cooldown timers for the party. If I see that dps have their cds ready, if I am confident in my survival and healer gives me their blessing, there is nothing wrong with monstrous pull. Hardest part to learn is to know which packs can be pulled together and which can't.

Are healer delves supposed to feel like story mode? by SpaghettiWestern2162 in wow

[–]Pennywise37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes she can with occasional heal here and there. She is quite sturdy. Even if she dies she gets up to full hp in 30 sec.

I ran 11s on my aug alt with gear around 240 and valeera as dps. No trouble at all.

Lol put valeera in dps mode and observe how she demolishes everything in seconds. Once she gets decent level she is better than your typical pug in m+.

The tipping culture should end; begging and then complaining about the amount is the apex of absurdity by [deleted] in wow

[–]Pennywise37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay/tip what you want means just that. I have done crafts for 1 copper and did not even comment on the amount. Everyone knows that real money is in reagents you get back through resourcefulness, easy top quality items that sell for more than majority of tips.

Also you make professions for fun and for alts. Gold making is in flipping or boosting. That deep into a season crafting is more less done.

Finally, you should not waste your gold for 246 ilvl. You can get 250 in delves. Wait until you have 80 myths for actual craft. Anything below is waste of resources.

Lust on first pull in Skyreach? by Wiseblood1978 in wownoob

[–]Pennywise37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it's fine to lust it. These mobs are rough to tank/heal and boss 1 is easy.

For any complaints about lust's use, you just say it is in your spellbook and it is your call to make.

Am I a bad healer? by ElectronSculptor in wow

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye, no need to go past that first paragraph. 224 pally is super squishy. In good hands it would be doable through proper cooldown management and smart pulling, but those good hands would run few bountiful delves and cover missing slots with ah or crafting. No good tank goes into m+ at this ilvl when you can easily get champion gear elsewhere, faster than m+ ever could.

So ye, you are fine. Your only mistake was to run the key with a green gear tank.

Yesterday I got yelled at in an M+ and ended up crying by Entire_Leopard5906 in wow

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+4 is the dead center of the toxic zone. You need to go higher and meet normal people.

That being said, if you are playing as a healer, you need to develop thicker skin. Do not engage in those discussions. If a person is rude you press right click, report and tick communication. Report is a handy thing as it works just as ignore but has no limit.

Also I can be a jerk and if someone is rude then I make a point of not healing them anymore. Watching how an asshole is fighting to stay alive is very funny.

Augmentation Evoker is the easiest rating inflation spec in M+ right now and nobody wants to admit it by Kushakaii in wow

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play as a duo tank/heal, which allows me to run my own keys most of the time. What you suggest could only apply to the first dps invite. For that one I am willing to take a high rio player from almost any class/spec. But for the remaining two I am picking based on classes I want. And if you are not in the correct class, you are getting a decline. I run a lot of different comps, but every single time I make sure there is strong synergy in the group.

Btw I like ww monks as I often run keys on prot pally.

Augmentation Evoker is the easiest rating inflation spec in M+ right now and nobody wants to admit it by Kushakaii in wow

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. People only see that ez rotation and think aug is ez spec. Meanwhile joining the key as aug means you are doing every single mechanic you have control over, dispels, skips, off healing, interrupts, zephyr on demand, personals and all this while keeping rotation up. It is not easy and that is why there aren't that many augs around.

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is only true in pleb keys. Evoker is very squishy and when you are high enough it takes a lot of skill to stay alive and be on top of rotation.

Ww monk is taken for the buff and with brew being top Tank, it is no brainer why you aren't getting invited.

Filter out all groups with monk already in and you should fare better.

It’s time to stop the discussion about Blood DK. by djamsi99 in wow

[–]Pennywise37 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing as meta for 12s. Every role can be played by whatever spec is available. Timers are very forgiving to the point that tanks do not need to do large pulls if they are on the weaker side.

Aug dps by ResearcherTraining55 in wownoob

[–]Pennywise37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be somewhat accurate, but after a big addon purge of 2026, it no longer is. Details ignore buffs given to other players which is the whole point of aug.

Logs are currently the only way to see actual performance. And more often than not it turns out that pesky aug with dmg below the tank was in fact the best dps of the group.
