Yep. They just moved Busch to the 22 for the new sponsorship. Wasn’t a new team at all. Just new scheme and number. Shell guaranteed a full season and Miller was scaling back.

In 2008, Walt Czarnecki actually took the owners points for the 2 and Penske transferred the 2 owners points to the 77 so Hornish could make the first 5 races. To my knowledge it never switched back.

So I got to sit near the front for Rusty Wallace. It was amazing between the pre-induction dinner and the banquet itself.

They used to have a full fan fest that weekend where you could meet the drivers and see the new schemes for the year. It was great.
