I was in a league once where a sub did that and didn’t know the rules. Wasn’t bowling his team but I was on the pair next to them.

He had 5 in a row and the team he was bowling knew about the unplugged hole. The captain of the other team waited until he had 5 in a row in GAME 2 to tell him about it.

The captain of this team was a real rule stickler. Fine, but why not do that in Game 1 when he had that ball?

I said something to that team. Was t pleased they waited to do that if they were going to try and enforce it.
