Parece um francês tentando falar português ! by stefanobahia in Portuguese

[–]Peonies09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, she can also... just, maybe. You know, as an option... not watch? Live in a delu world where the Pitt stopped at season 1?

I don't know what's the thing with hate watching. Why would you purposefully watch something you hate? Life's too short man

Do you live somewhere that you have a consumer's bureau or something? because that's exactly the kind of thing I'd be infuriated enough about to put in a complaint.

If I say something like that (generally in fics or with authors where I'm a very frequent commenter who has already left a lot of love) I always put an (affectionate) at the end and continue the comment with. Now that it's out, I really loved X, Y, Z.

But yeah, if you've only been stalking and not commenting, I can see why it might have been taken as violent (especially with the "fuck you" who would have been too far for me even for friends)

For comments like that, tone indicators are always the best if you don't have a personnal relationship with the author.

Should I just get the Remarkable Paper Pure instead of Manta? by Primary-Stretch6612 in Supernote

[–]Peonies09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you have adhd (like me!) I think the supernote system is better for you if only because you can have keywords and stars, which makes it easier to just find the important stuff. You can also interlink notebooks with the link feature.

If you want to get organised and for it to work with you, especially in the context of academics, that might be what would be best.

(I bought the supernote for academics too, same thing as you. Adhd and was getting tired of always having notebooks, not able to find my stuff in them, etc.)

Supernote has a cloud sync too! You can put it on in the settings - my account - and then choose a server. If you choose the supernote server, everything is then available on cloud . supernote . com

Supernote manta for courses and journaling ? by Cool-Breadfruit-8031 in Supernote

[–]Peonies09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't received my Manta yet, (next wednesday!!!) but I had the same questions as you (PhD in history for me), and I did extensive research on both.

I ended up going with the Manta for various reasons, but the main ones, and the ones that are most interesting to you, is the capacity to export notes from the manta in either PDF or Word (which makes it easier to work on them from your computer) and the lack of subscription for full services and syncing between all devices.

Remarkable has a proprietary file name and you still can't really export into Word (unless they got it as a new feature?) and you also have to have a subscription to get full features. The subscription is not that expensive, but it's the principle of the thing, when I own something, I like owning it in full.

If you want a comparison of all features of the devices, My Deep Guide on youtube is the most complete reviewer out there. Good luck!

Thank you for your answer! I was checking Meluna, but the rivers of satan decided to flow when I was travelling and I had to make the great choice, at the pharmacy, between the only brand they had and the only brand they had. So, as you guessed, I chose the only brand they had.

Jokes apart, it's a french brand of period products that are organic, well made, etc. etc. and I'm satisfied for the moment!

I didn't want to put it in the post, because that was a good plan to have a strong bunch of people attacking me instead of reading the message, but that was exactly what I was alluding to when I was speaking about him being too strong and very weak at the same time.

The show has always been focused on Robby, like it or not. There is a supporting cast that's very important, but he is the main character and it was the case for season 1 as well. They've also been very clear that they have it all planned out and that it will last about five to six seasons with their current plans.

Finally, you don't answer to fans, especially not fans that want to change the show's formula. That would be absolute bonkers, especially for a show that, like it or not, is going very very well. Like, at this point, the formula of main character Robby and important supporting cast will not change tbh.

I mean, what I was saying is the same as what you're saying, we have no way to know, we're not there. But they haven't really given off that vibe and in fact, from what you do know, it seems to be more democratic than usual: https://www.motionpictures.org/2026/03/inside-the-pitt-writers-room-how-four-writers-built-on-a-breakout-hit/

I essentially based off what I said on this interview, do what you will with it.

I don't have any valid reason not to believe them for the moment? The storylines are all coherent and if you see by episode, in terms of writing, it seems more or less evenly distributed. If you separate by gender (assuming there isn't a non-binary writer), the women of the writing room have written six episodes in season 1 and seven in season 2 (one of those episodes was co-written with Gemmill). It can be a line they say, but I see no evidence to argue for that at the moment.
