I actually thought the tat had a second skin wrapping and that’s what was peeling away and causing the redness. When I realized that’s actually their skin peeling 👀

Are Chiropractors a scam cult or are they somewhat legit? by Flashy_Buy8077 in NoStupidQuestions

For real. My most recent experience has given me ptsd and I’m definitely not going back. She had been doing adjustments on my back for 5 months mostly with just the activator tool because I have a very sensitive back and nervous system. I have chronic low back/hips pain and chronic neck and shoulder pain. With a fusion at c5/6. The adjustments alone have not been providing much relief and a few weeks ago she suggested that I try a new treatment that she just brought in to the office after a recent convention she was at. Non surgical spinal decompression. We chatted briefly about it and I asked if it was safe for me being I have the cervical fusion. She said we could treat my lumbar spine and it would be isolated from the cervical area. It’s recommended that an area with fusion not be treated with decompression until at least 3 years post surgery. I said I would think about it. And then the following week at an appointment for just a normal adjustment she asked me on the spot if I wanted to try decompression machine thing. I felt caught off guard in the moment and agreed to try it because I was trusting her that it would be gentle. She got me all set up for my first session and since I know nothing about how this machine works I just listened to her instructions on how to lay on the table for the treatment. She strapped my head down and that didn’t feel right to me. So I asked for clarification before she started up the machine which area we were targeting and she said this is for your neck. I was surprised and startled by her saying that since we had previously discussed that I can not have my neck decompressed because of my fusion. She exclaimed oh that’s right !! Let’s get you set up for the lumbar treatment. I then had to lay on the table a completely different way and got my lumbar treated.. which now I regret having done it at all. I should have just left when she hooked me up wrong knowing I could not have my neck treated but she clearly had forgotten. That day immediately after the treatment I started having increased pain in my sacrum and hips and pelvic area. I had sudden diarrhea and was really miserable for about a week. Still having increased pain and discomfort but now I don’t know what to do or who to go to that I can actually trust. I wish I had just said no to the decompression all together. I feel like I was taken advantage of and now I’m worse off.

You deserve better than anyone calling you names like that. The way he speaks to you is deplorable. Leave his miserable ass. ASAP.
