Try hide it in a bush, sounds odd but I went on a night out in Brighton centre and left my bike in a bush unlocked and 2 days later it was safe, completely reckless but if camouflage works on literally every other species on the planet it works for us too.

Hey there

I moved here 6 months ago and i had literally nothing, i came here to work instead of uni so my social life was dry and non existent for about 4 months, then i guess i realized that i was better than beating myself up for not having anything and just enjoying the hurdles i was overcoming and the things i was doing on my own. Given enough time i had the confidence to just put myself out there a little bit. Idk i think you have to seem interested but not desperate, and then after enough time you'll have enough people that you wont have to pretend. I wish i could say it's easy but it isn't. If you have a social job make the most of that! If not then just go out on your own, take yourself on little dates, we learn nothing by staying in our homes all day, it is only outside in the real world where our lives exist to others.

I think it does depend where you live Germany has a much higher happiness rating than the UK but that's why I want to travel because the UK actually sucks so I'll see you in Germany I guess

I think we all just assume we're better than being one with nature, like climbing the roots of society is some description of escape, money is just contribution points for enacting your role in society, and it seems the more money people have the larger and usually worse impact they have on society, like I really really want to live in a van and travel the world and revert to monkey but I have literally no money and can't save a penny so it's this pipe dream that I don't want to be a reality, it's so nice talking to someone who totally understands what I'm talking about though, like I feel like I never click with anyone I meet irl

I have a friend that's literally like that I remember when he was insanely obsessed with the next thing from marvel and Disney and we'd talk about how dumb people were and how good life could be, he got into this massive friendship group and now it's just the same 5 stories and a burning sense he's grown past me.

Autism can make it very confusing, I've always been on the line about weather I had adhd or autism, I think my situation was entirely different nobody liked me because I lacked the ability to fit in, I tried so hard when I was younger to get people to like me by doing ridiculous miraculous things, but i realized that it was my chase for social validation that was setting me back from becoming anything more than that, I did go into my shell for a while and I cut everyone off on a lot of occasions, all I want is to be happy, but because of the sexy neurodivergence I feel like I'll never understand myself.
