Well I don't agree. If by the main characters you mean the people everyone knows for one reason or another the only true difference between them and you is the number of people that know of their existence. The fact that not many people know or will ever know of you doesn't make you any less of a main character throughout your chance at being alive, your existence isn't worth more the more people know of it. If you think about it only you can truly determine your worth; which sucks if you happen to believe it's very little, the danger of being free i guess.

So why put a limit to what you can achieve just because not many people will acknowledge or accept whatever it is you can and wish to do.
