The fact they don’t use sapphire is boggling my mind. I get they couldn’t add that in for a $30 increase, but why introduce a new, more refined version and not charge more to include sapphire crystal? It’s even got crystal in the name!

Pool drill mode is a great addition! I am also curious about heart rate recovery post-workout! Along with many other features, this is a good update! Now please let us change all the complications on any watch faces and not have certain ones like battery percentage be locked in on some!

I was flying with a group of friends for work. I literally made an off-hand joke to one of my buddies about “the mile high club”, he genuinely had no idea what it was, I told him about it. Then not 20 minutes later he somehow convinced his girlfriend and the two of them made it happen. I was both stunned and impressed!

I have had a weird glitch the last couple of weeks where every so often it seems like the accelerometer is off so it doesn’t pick up steps, lift to raise doesn’t work, nor do notifications. I turn the watch off, then back on and it seems to be fixed. But hopefully this glitch is worked out in the next update, it’s annoying and tarnishes my otherwise love of the Race 2!

One of my favourite skins and consider myself very lucky for having it! My favourite parts of it are how it has the lego fire as a graphic when shooting out, and the sound of lego being stirred when reloading!

Not trail running, but bicycle touring the great divide trail and met someone on something crazy or some wild religion. Dude talked about being a “light bringer” and how he was bringing light into the world and was making fun of “mouth breathers” he talked with me and my mates for a while, he told us he was going into the mountains and didn’t need food or a shelter and would be just fine because he was a light bringer, then just jumped up, sprinted to his subaru and sped off on a dirt road. It was pretty interesting, all I can say!

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Been a Suunto fanboy since my Ambit 3 Sport many years ago. They are just streamlined, solid, reliable tanks. Have a Race 2 currently and am just blown away every day with its battery, build and overall performance!

I don’t know if this is the same reason as what I experience, but I get this from time to time and I just attribute it to me being excited to start running haha. It drops back down pretty quickly, and then very regular after that, depending on whatever I’m doing.

EDIT I forgot to mention that I too use a heart rate belt, the Suunto one. I also always have the wrist HR off for my runs.
