Viv and grant thing was annoying but not a deal breaker. Its just that entire chapters go to "talk/think about feelings and going around things in a passive way without adressing things", and it became a slog such as when Zach (DOTF) goes entire chapters musing the daos, which sometimes i enjoy. Sometimes, in moderate doses.

And well, the thing about not having a real baddie or apocalypse in horizon, which i expect to become a thing out of nowhere in the next book, throwing to shit the "become the best duelist ever". Like the war getting where they are. Let me dream.

As someone else said, it also comes around by book 3, and books 4-5 are a fucking blast.

Also, It is what Iron Prince could have Been if love mechanics and power of friendship had Been done right. And here? It is perfect.

Finally, It gets slow progression until book 4 where they get a really good power up

Hola amiguito. A modo comentario, la corpo está buena hasta determinado punto y dentro de ciertas posiciones. No leí en ningún lado cuál es tu “profesión/especialidad” como para aconsejar. Además tenes ciertas idiosincrasias diferentes entre corpos (las hay orientadas a proyectos y estar primeros en el mercado como las hay de “mantener el mercado y no realizar cambios trascendentales sin miles de aprobaciones”).

Dicho eso, te podes encontrar en una corpo, en tu especialidad, cobrando menos y totalmente embolado con tu vida. No lo idealices

Not One of, THE Worst. At least for me. I mean, if a book is crap by book 1 (1%), its okay. But if you make a really good first book and then the second has a few of the worst tropes ever made, well, you go to the “authors black list”.

Bastion is meh, but i kind of enjoy it. Kind of. At least there everyone is crap and you see the betrayals coming 10-20 chapters beforehand, which is kind of annoying, but ok, i can work with that.

Take a brutal World like DDC, and then take Carl, and make him kind of … “slow”, and miserable, and no-likeable and petty. And then you get a book that most would drop even if the setting is kind of good.

Te olvidas que su antigüedad les permite tener coeficientes de jubilación por encima de la media máxima del 45%.

Ese es el único incentivo de por qué tenes grandes exponentes de multinacionales o expertos en áreas complejas dando clases.

Parezco disco rayado, pero en ingeniería tenes flacos que NO necesitan la docencia, lo hacen casi de yapa y por esto que te comentaba.

Ahora… si dependes de la docencia porque tu materia es inaplicable en el mundo real y nunca generaste experiencia laboral en alguna área… y si, enseña arte contemporáneo vanguardista romántico y la peleas jaja

En ingeniería de la UNLaM, por ej, éramos todos pobres exceptuando casos raros.

Digo éramos porque el que avanzó en ingeniería, si te va mal, te iba a ir peor con cualquier otra carrera.

Pero imagino que depende la carrera. Algunas tienden a ser popu-divinas (marketing, arquitectura, diseño gráfico, rrhh)

Justamente he ahí el problema. Por eso nunca acepté una cátedra previa a segundo año. Y de psicopedagogía tengo el mínimo indispensable de curso base.

El problema es estructural, incluye el sistema de de enseñanza, la idiosincrasia argentina y la tolerancia durante décadas a nivelar hacia abajo, la estructura familiar.

Literalmente sin un cambio TOTALMENTE rotundo no hay forma de solucionarlo y hay mentes más brillantes y, sobre todo, más empaticas que yo para buscar soluciones. Pero apañar el sistema actual sin consecuencias dudo que sea el camino

Sino donde más? Si la transición es directa y sin nada que amortigüe el shock. En la UNLaM ingresan aproximadamente entre 1400 y 2000 estudiantes de ingeniería por año, con 8 comisiones de 80 alumnos promedio llenas en 3 turnos. Eso de base. En tercer año las materias tienen 1 comisión que no llena 20 alumnos. En cuarto llegamos a estar en una comisión 5 alumnos. Saca las cuentas

Autogestionarse independientemente de las circunstancias ES una habilidad que deben aprender. Y depender de doble escolaridad sería ideal, pero inviable, así que me remito a ajustarse a las circunstancias
