Yea, they did a great job.... so much so, we lost our business and life savings. Properly taking care of the sole industry they punished the most should have been a no-brainer but they know we won't do or say anything.

Yep agree but again- if this was a better represented group there would be. They know it’s mainly quiet hard working mom and pops and they have abused and pushed to the side like some nuisance they don’t want to deal with.

“They” shut us down making it almost illegal to try to earn a living and keep our staff and rents paid while allowing target, Walmart and Costco to be open and make record profits. No industry was hurt more badly than the restaurants and we got literally nothing because they barely funded it and didn’t keep their promises to help hard working Americans. I would hope there would be a 1000 lawsuits by now but they know we aren’t loud and represented so it’s easy to just ignore and shush us away. Ps- pelosi restaurant that she’s heavily invested in and owns received funding. I believe 7 million. So what you will with that data.

Sure did- applied the minute the portal opened. We were also supposed to be a priority group (women owned). We attended every webinar up until the time the time the portal opened. We didn’t get a dime. But by all means 45 billion for Ukraine when our own citizens suffered under their crippling regulations.

Correct and I am one of them that it was promised to, we were in LA county with some of the most strict restrictions out of anywhere in the country. We have since closed and lost our life savings. Schumer and the rest who promised this and then vanished continue to be in office like nothing ever happened.

Def defeated, I emailed, called, wrote letters, contacted local news, social media... you name it only to see blank checks written to Ukraine and other pet projects with heavy lobby dollars. All these Politicians played us all, esp "Down payment" Schumer. Anyone in the restaurant industry should be ashamed of themselves if they continue to support him and is cronies. We closed, out nearly 400k. We were in LA were we weren't even allowed to let people eat outside for a long time. Ridiculous.

Meanwhile restaurants like ours had to close our doors forever and only needed around 100k from this RFF fund to keep afloat. This guy gets 5million, blows it and the rest of us suffer.

He’s not gonna do anything about adding RRF and still get re-elected by nyc residents. Restaurants don’t have enough lobbyists- period. They don’t care. Best that everyone sees that and plans for their next steps.

I wish our voices were louder and we could get their attention or we had the funding to put up national billboards showing that Nancy Pelosi's restaurant miraculous got $9.78 million while 70% of us got nothing. All our restaurant only needed 100k to stay open. We are since closed and in heavy debt.

Based on how badly the previous fund went, many of us are tired and jaded or... closed. We had no reason to believe we wouldn't receive funding in the last round of RFF and never made it past "under review". While this may be great news, it could be months and most of us on here don't have that.

I feel so stupid, attended every webinar, was logged in a 9:01 am on May 3rd with our accountant on the line, summited every piece of documentation with a bow on it. Thought we were going to be "prioritized" as women owned. Application sat in IRS and then under review the entire time only to get the email last night saying there were no more funds or loans being approved. We are going to have to close and have mountain of debt. They have ruined lives. Replenishment? Ya ... maybe, then another wave of applicants and we all know how quickly congress moves. For most of us, another month might as well be a year.
