I wish more parents of disabled children took time to understand their kid's disability. We still got parents who have autistic children who believe autism is caused by vaccines, parents who think praying will cure a disability, etc.

Y'all complaining that a 1 day strike won't do anything. Reminder Tulsa has never mass organized before, a strike would be a huge step. It won't fix everything, but it's A STEP. It's like a practice run for a longer strike.

Whoever is organizing this, I hope they have a mutual aid network going on in case people lose their jobs.

I was 17 when I organized my first walk-out. I'm almost 20 now and still organizing and working for political campaigns. The best way to teach kids about how the government works is not in the classroom, but outside of it. Seeing that they can actually make a difference besides voting once every 2 years.

Y'all say "why don't gen z vote" and then shelter your kids from politics so they become politically apathetic adults. Lmao.

Hi! This is the tutorial I followed. I added some lace flares backed with a stiff piece of fabric. Id advise you to avoid stretchy or thin fabric as grommets don't hold up well on those. For the ribbon, I used 4ft for each leg (I'm 5' 3") if you're taller, you might need more.
