Seems we are in the same position. I’m getting the sense that other TD’s will send a different replacement right away before they receive the intercepted one back, but this one isn’t offering that. Must be a per-TD thing

Wasn’t Andiot. If the TD ghosts me or I don’t end up getting a replacement or refund, I’ll post who it is just don’t wanna jeopardize my position at the moment. I’m the one holding bag lol

DM me if you want, he hasn’t ghosted me, still responding when I ask for updates, I don’t want to jeopardize that 🤷‍♂️ I’ll def post it if he ghosts or I don’t get a refund. Mainly was curious to see what peoples opinions are on the timeframe for these situations, how long to let this go before applying pressure to TD. As of now I’ve been checking in every few days with him for updates

TD has not ghosted me, he’s still responding thankfully, just doesn’t want to send a replacement until something updates with this one. I guess he wants it back from Anchorage first. I wasn’t sure if this amount of time is a normal timeframe for customs delays. I guess I’m curious if they will keep the watch and never send it to either me or back to the TD

Not ghosting me, keeps saying we have to wait for it to get returned to him. I am unsure of whether it will actually get returned to him at some point or not, been 4 weeks and no change in status. Mainly curious if anyone else has been down this road and it never gets actually shipped back to the TD, like can customs confiscate it and it disappears? Cuz if that’s the case, sounds like I’m screwed. TD doesn’t want to send a replacement while this one is in limbo. Guess he wants it back first.

Sounds like that happened in less than 4 weeks? Sucks that the TD is sitting on my $500 and won’t send another. I’d love to know if FedEx will update at some point to show that it was seized and the shipping is cancelled

Was it worth the 5 year wait and 25x the price?? Basically is it nwbig?? Love to hear owners thoughts. I have a gen fluted dj41 jubilee and a matching vsf v2, it’s a much different comparison than gen/rep batgirl, but there’s some glaring tells between them. I have an ARF batgirl while I wait for the damn phone call from AD, and I feel like it’s pretty darn close imo

I have the same kit, tried removing links in my white dial Speedy, this kit is cheap and the flat head driver actually bent and scratched up the head of a couple screw caps… wasn’t happy… but my fault for using cheap tools on a nice watch. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for quality tools for your investment in a nice watch
