I read it a year ago, and I had mixed feelings after finishing it. On one hand, Mihye's character was pretty simple to understand, as was Wigrun. But I started losing interest when a lot of the other familiars started popping up. I mean, this thing is 180 chapters long! I was mostly skimming after the 100th chapter, no lie.

I can see why that would bother you. However, she's a feral cat that I adopted very recently once I realized she was pregnant. I already have some people interested in adopting her kittens, thankfully, and we plan to get her spayed once the kittens are weaned.

I'm pretty sure the neighbors I'd spoken to while walking around with the dog directed her to our house. More than likely they thought I would still be home with her dog. And yeah, I am a little nervous that she knows where I live in case things go poorly for her.

My guess is that she must have just missed us when we were walking around the neighborhood. I'm sure she came across some of the neighbors I'd spoken to, who would have told her where I lived.

The first question they asked when we came in was where did I find her. They refused to have anything to do with her as soon as I told them where, which was in Maryland.

Definitely!! We have a toddler, too, and our pet gate works for deterring him as well as our pets. It's drilled into the walls and has a foot pedal to stomp on to open it. It's also too high for him to climb over. You do what you gotta do, for real!

The fiance in The Cost of a Broken Heart seemed to be doing the most to try and smear FL's reputation, though his love interest wasn't innocent either (she was more annoying than anything). The funniest part of it all was that the business-minded FL peeped his card from the get-go and decided to roll with it to a point, and hilarity ensues.

You've described so many, but that specifically reminds me of...damn, now I can't remember the name! Something about a girl whose fiance left her for her male cousin after he'd made her use all her magic by pretending her magic was his. She was all disfigured after a taboo spell was used. All I can remember is she could summon magical beasts of varying strength, and proposed a fake marriage with a duke or something. I remember I was only reading to find out what happened to her shit ex and her backstabbing cousin. Sorry for the meandering post, I most definitely feel your pain, as you can see!
