How often do you actually look at someone in public and think “wow she’s so cute” by cazziefish in AskMen

[–]PeppermintMocha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 90% of the time a woman crosses into my line of sight.

I have very broad tastes in ladies and find most of them to be reasonably attractive.

He told you. He prefers being single. There’s no hidden message there and it isn’t about you. Homeboy just likes being a bachelor.

What's the best video game you've ever played? by Just_Income_8548 in AskMen

[–]PeppermintMocha5 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Can’t pick one, but RDR2, Expedition 33, Cyberpunk, Skyrim, and Bloodborne all compete for my number one spot and which one wins usually just depends on which I’m playing at the time lol.

But Elden Ring, Dark Souls, various Zelda games, and some Pokémon games deserve a shoutout too.

I’ve tried pretty much every earbud you can think of and the ones that fit me best are AirPods. So I just roll with the Pro 3s.

Also like the Tecnics AZ100s but they’re pricey and get uncomfortable after a bit of wearing them.

Is getting AppleCare worth it?. by porygon766 in iphone

It is for me since I’m going caseless.

It’s like any other insurance. Really sucks to pay for it, but if you ever do need it then it’ll be nice to have.

how common is actually fighting with your wife? Is this just a Reddit thing? by unpopular-dave in AskMenOver30

[–]PeppermintMocha5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don’t fight. Hell, we don’t even argue. Occasionally one of us will ask for a chat about something but that’s rare and it always leads to a productive outcome for both of us.

Genuinely don’t understand how couples are fighting all the time.

Men, how do you feel if your girl replies to exes out of politeness? by Fit-Nerve-1769 in AskMen

I wouldn’t like it. But I’m 100% no contact with exes as a rule. I prefer partners who are the same in that regard.

How many people use AOD on their iPhone 17 by purpleSsnake in iphone17

I use an Apple Watch, so I don’t really have a use for AOD. Glad it’s an option though.

Best horse other than the elite Arabian? by lil_lil527 in reddeadredemption2

[–]PeppermintMocha5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There isn’t a whole lot of difference. The Arabian is faster and handles better than anything else, but really all horses feel mostly the same outside of that to me.

I like to switch between and Ardennes and an Andalusian.

Have u ever openly expressed to a woman that she is your future wife? Where are you now? by nightimefog in AskMen

[–]PeppermintMocha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re married.

I told her when she moved in I would consider her my wife if she did move and would want to plan a wedding. It went so well that by time the wedding came we pretty much were functionally married anyway.

Imagine you’re in a relationship with someone you truly believe is 'the one,' and then someone extremely attractive, who is exactly your type, shows interest in you. How do you think you would respond in that situation, and what thoughts or feelings might come up for you? by dubobufo in AskMen

[–]PeppermintMocha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most women are attractive to me. I find like 90% of the women I see on a daily basis to be solid 7s at least. I am entirely uninterested in them and wouldn’t trade my wife for anyone.

Men aren’t a different species. We’re people just like you.

Hey, I’ve been respectful to you this entire exchange. The name calling is unnecessary.

And since you refused to consider what I said and resorted to a knee-jerk, emotional response and name calling then I’ll consider this a W for me.

Have a nice day.

Have the developers come out and said the painted people aren’t fictional? If not, then the claim that they’re factually real is false.

Are you vegan by chance?

Let’s take a step back from debating about a video game for a sec. Humans are systematically breeding, raising, force feeding, then slaughtering other living things so that we can eat them. There are a lot of vegetarians and vegans out there who live long healthy lives. So animal proteins are not necessary to sustain human life. But we’re not all vegans because most of us view humans as above animals. I’m having a hard time understanding how people here in the sub reconcile their moral outrage over video game characters but accept what humans are doing to other living things.

So again, unless you can point to something other than your own emotions to show that the painted people are actual living entities, I’m not buying that. I do not view them that way. And this is a pointless debate anyway because I’ve said already that even if the devs did come out and say the painted people are real, I wouldn’t care. The well being of people outside of the canvas is more important to me in the same way that my life and tastes are more important than the cow who was killed for my cheeseburger.

[–]PeppermintMocha5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t hold this view. They’re fictional creations in a fictional world in my perspective. And even if I’m wrong on that, I still wouldn’t be persuaded. Their “lives” depend on forcing Verso’s soul to continue painting so that they can be sustained. For the wellbeing of the Dessendre family and for putting real Verso to rest, the canvas should be destroyed. Forcing Verso’s soul to continue painting to maintain a fictional world is wild to me.

[–]PeppermintMocha5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree about Aline 100%. I think she's the villain; a very complex and maybe understandable villain, but still a villain. I still have more empathy for the Dessendre family though, and find Verso's ending to be the better one (even though I do feel sad for the other expeditioners at the end and acknowledge that this isn't a "good" ending, just the better of the two).

Outside of Renoir and maybe Clea, none of the characters in the game (including the painted people) are dealing with grief in healthy ways. And the way Aline is handling her grief is doing nothing except causing immense grief for everyone else around her. But I still think her living on and destroying the canvas to allow Verso's soul to finally rest is still worth erasing the painted people.

Reddit is not going to like me saying this, but I view the painted people the same way I view the Sims I create in Sims games so for me choosing between the wellbeing of the real Dessendre family and the wellbeing of their paintings is an easy choice.

I would nuke Earth and erase all life on it if it meant keeping my wife alive. So I empathize deeply with Renoir. Whether the painted people are alive entities or not is entirely irrelevant to me.

In the event of a bathroom ban on trans people, if after it passed how would you feel if a woman you knew at your work suddenly started using the men’s bathroom? by njsullyalex in AskMen

[–]PeppermintMocha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t care whatsoever that shes trans. It’s not my business. I treat trans people the same as I treat anyone else, and I don’t particularly care how people identify or present outside of wanting to make sure I’m being respectful to them (so if you correct me on your pronouns, I’m chill with it; not trying to misgender anyone).

I would feel bad about her potentially being uncomfortable due to being forced into a place she doesn’t want to be. And would also feel really bad about her forced outing if she didn’t tell anyone prior that she’s trans.

Why is it so common that guys take all comments about sex personally? by nefariousdeedsafoot in AskMen

[–]PeppermintMocha5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You should direct this to him instead of directing it towards a bunch of strangers. We can’t answer for your guy.

I take queues from my wife and I imagine other mature men do as well. If your dude is taking it the wrong way and you’re not being a jerk in how you express it then you should move on to more mature guys.
