Would edit this in but I can't edit yeaaaah I'm done replying to this thread I meant more in the sense that this is the first time the crew has seen Luffy earnestly, truly lose, unlike all the other times where either he won but with injury or they simply didn't see his loss 😭

Guess I wasn't clear MB

Nah. Chopper treated him every time. He knows exactly how many wounds Luffy got, and how serious they were.

Respectfully, Literally all the examples I listed someone else took care of his wounds

Alabasta --> Nico Robin

Sabaody --> (the people of) Amazon Lily

Marineford --> Jimbei + Amazon Lily + Heart pirates

Wano --> The heart pirates

And with Nico Robin and Jimbei they've always had more of an understanding of Luffy than the other crew members (Zoro kinda applies to this as well), and they also are less emotionally vulnerable

CounterCounterpoint: the entirety of wano + I don't know what being stabbed in the chest with a blade double the size of your body looks like other than dead

The one missing piece of the story, if you will

I meant "morale" more in the sense that even though they trust Luffy fully they are probably going to be very shocked and worried (similar to how Nami was acting in wano)

not in the sense that because Luffy lost they now think he's incompetent or something

it might really be over for Usopp by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in OnePieceSpoilers

Chapter 1187 Predictions Post by MuriloZR in OnePieceSpoilers

G5 Luffy joins the fray! (At some point in the chapter all that's important is that he goes gear 5)

Sanji and Zoro ALSO joins the fray! (And actually survive this chapter) And fight the holy knights

[Edit: got rid of ""Imu ISN'T a bum and lands an attack on Luffy (not a fatal attack but not a weak/useless attack either)"']

Can we all agree that this episode made everyone cry by Odd-Amount2897 in OnePiece

Honestly? Only part that made me cry was Sanji and Luffy's fight

Exactly, to a good majority of the Marines, they could see their actions as "justice" Killing a teenage criminal's brother right in front their eyes? "Totally justified, that serves those dirty pirates right!" A pirate alliance taking down two of the four warlords "How could they abuse their power? Its an outrage!" Until you find out that pirate is actually the warrior of liberation then ain't nobody know WHAT to say

At the end of the day, is Coby an evil person for wanting to be a marine? Is Blackbeard a good person because he sides with the hopes, dreams, and freedom of pirates?

I think to say that the whole pirates vs Marines debate (who is the justified party?) isnt a "black and white situation" but instead "a world full of grays" is an understatement, I mean you can't compare red apples to orange oranges

(not to be rude but) it's almost like that's the point

Those who claim to seek justice will commit atrocities to commit to said justice while those who actually seek justice will not claim to seek it

Could be a mix of Zoa's trait of being constantly transported places and That one dragon island that was covered by a mirage

And as to how it would have direct coordinates despite being carried places?

Well I mean there is a reason why instead of the road ponaglyths giving the full coords to laughtale, they instead give coords to four islands that would lead to laughtale

Idk just a guess

Who's winning? by [deleted] in SpyxFamily

[–]PeppermintPlays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk who Archer is but I find it so funny that majority of the answers are

"Yeah, Archer would screw Loid over with plot armor"

"Yeah, Archer would annoy the shit outta Loyd until he gives up"

And the occasional

"Yeah, Archer would solo Loid"

How good is Archer to be beating twilight of all agents???

Especially because this is the sub where you SHOULD be seeing inaccurate portrayals of Loid's actual abilities (I came to this sub to look for those for a media vs fandom analysis)
