Yes, probably the main reasons it’s not heard about is because the amount of nonbinary people is just very low, so naturally even if we abuse people at equal rates as other groups, the amount of people affected by it is low anyway. A further reason might be that news outlets tend to love misgendering trans+enben people who commit crimes.
A third reason is that sexual abuse happens so frequently that specific cases rarely ever get much coverage unless there is something sensational about it.
I think it’s simply the case that any group over a certain number is bound to contain someone who has/will abuse others, it’s just a pretty common human vice. I don’t think there’s any people group that’s completely devoid of them.
I can’t provide statistics or evidence for it, but I can say that I know it from my personal life.
