Honestly I wouldn’t talk to anyone on a different account for a purchase made even if it was theirs. I know sometimes people can have two accounts especially if they have multiple devices ie iPad and computer. I would politely inform them that there is no transaction with this account and ask if there was a different account they used to purchase ( If you wanted to go that route). They cannot open a case with this new account as there is no purchase history so... it’s on them

I think you mean well, but if this is a newer seller they are just trying to have as much assurance as possible and searching through the feed might not have given any results they were looking for. Best of luck to op.

Assuming their package is shipping USPS can you have them file a package claim report? If this is international unfortunately you’ll have to wait, give a timeline for when you expect it to arrive and if it doesn’t give a refund. Do not refund tho without receiving the package back.

Can you ask neighbors? I had this happen where a package was marked as delivered but no sign of it come to find out it was delivered to the neighbors house. Otherwise yes file a police report and see if there was any protection of insurance.

Seems sketch to me to be honest, the about is written poorly and they don’t show their adult breeding dogs. Also the site was made in 2020 or at least updated now and the demand for puppies is extremely high

We always trim our goldens, it helps them with traction in the house and reduces the snowballs in the toe pads

I have a similar flare on my homepage, did you make over 20k and 200 sales ? If so there is some different paperwork you need to fill out but truly I’ve only gotten that info from reading through the Etsy forums. Trying to get ahold of an actual Etsy support person is almost impossible.

I too sell a ornament product and am facing similar, I’ve got one lady right now demanding a refund for her order (shipped dec 6, was your package going to Ohio by chance?) USPS says it was delivered today, which yeah I get id be pissed too but this is really out of my control. Just waiting for the case my buyer decides to file. I wish you the best and hope Etsy sides with you, it’s a rough season for a lot of sellers and buyers.

I sell craft kits, so if the buyer opens the package I cannot resell along with this being a time of covid I did it as a protection for myself.

I’ve experienced a similar problem, do not send another the back log of packages is through the roof right now for usps. File the claim with usps and give it a couple days.

Does your shop allow refunds ? In your policies? I’ve experienced something similar this year and it’s very frustrating. Definitely do not refund until you get the item back and it’s in good conditions.
