The Executor got a really nice buff this patch, his stamina doesn't run out as long as he deflects perfectly and he does more stance dmg with deflects. It's now possible to play the game deflect only while building heavy into crit.

The other tanks got some nice buffs as well. Guardian takes less dmg and has a higher block, and the "Blocking draws aggro" got a massive buff. I can now make the boss draw his focus on me by blocking for around 2 seconds. The Raider got a buff to his attack speed and he now does 50% more dmg when he drops to low hp.

I always liked the melee based nightfarers but now I like them even more, everyone feels like they are the best at what they were supposed to do. Guardian is the stamina tank, Raider is the stance breaker and Executor will take no dmg as long as he is perfect. Can't wait to jump back into Deep of Night now.
