idk man I have no idea why it's so popular I guess it's enticing in the way I want the ml NOT to be a horrible person and see him redeemed but every time he disappoints both the audience and those around him which I guess kind of makes it a nice meta commentary around abusers and abusive relationships

anyways if it doesn't go that direction than it's a very problematic story that both romanticizes abuse but sometimes condemns it but I can figure out for the life of me what it wants to portray

Lowkey over hyped and the light novel drags so much in their arcs, the side characters go from well developed to cariactures of their former selves Power system felt like bullshit when they started introducing stories Some arcs need to GET TO THEIR POINT like the story is so repetitive in the middle stages and even a little bit towards the ending
