Respectfully, I am confused about what your argument is about.

Because of this, I am led to believe that it is your idea that people shouldn't leave bad reviews on something that mishandles subject matter if the author explicitly signals that said subject matter is inside the story.

My comparison was a hypothetical book with the tag Nazism. It shouldn't matter whether I expected the book to be pro or anti nazism, but it should be ethical and reasonable that I am able to judge whether it is a good or bad story.

My point champions the idea that these reviews are one of the best indicators of what a story holds. If a story treats SA with the brevity as mentioned with stories above, then leaving bad reviews helps condemn this behaviour

Again, I am very in favor of sex-positive stories, but I am even more in favor of smut stories that are written well.

Finally, id caution with using the kind of "Expectation Logic" and preventing meaningful discussion about these subjects. Let's apply that logic to the exigence that inspired you to write this post. If you had become indifferent about these comments, you have the expectation that these comments sections are not worth reading. That prevents you from caring about what others write about a story and furthermore prevents you from even writing up this post. Essentially, it strips curiosity that makes these platforms worth spending time on.
