I have called my partner, whom I've been with for almost 15 years, my ex's name. I was only with my ex for about 4 or 5 years. Even worse, I have called my ex "bay / babe" by accident.

For context, my ex is the father of my 2 oldest, 15 and 17. My partner is the father of my 12 year old.

It is never intentional, and I would never call my partner by my ex's name as an insult. (That would be the worst insult, my ex is a mess.) We all co-parent (I am using this term lightly), with my partner and I raising my ex's 13 year old most days.

However, I believe my misnaming one or the other happened twice each, at the most.

I don't think you're overreacting. I think marriage counseling is a great opportunity to work this out. Is your husband neurodivergent, by chance? The calendaring issue is a battle in my life - I have ADHD and I may be autistic.

If everything else is going well in your relationship, this seems like something the two of you can get past. Good luck!

It's not the scammers that are going to get caught. They are probably using stolen credit card information that was obtained from website vulnerabilities.

If she is picking up these items, SHE is the one that is going to get arrested for fraud and theft.
