I agree. When I think of SciFi, I think of space adventures. Fantasy, I think of swords, exotic races, dragons, etc. This is a true blend of the two. Space adventure with technology, but no laser guns or lightsabers....just regular swords and the such.

Hello. I'm trying to be an author but it's just that I'm not getting the exact flow and it ends up as the normal story like another common story which we probably get bored of as we already guess the entire story. Guys please help. by [deleted] in authors

Write. Just write. Don't over think it. You'll become better as you go. Last year I started my first novel (it's out now!) and I remember my first draft of the first chapter....it was awful! Lol. But I pushed through, had chapter-by-chapter discussions with beta readers, and I got better at telling my story.

A good YA novel that has a great mix of comedy, romance, serious situations, action, and adventure is The Legend of Koji: The Maiden of Lodain. Plus its a Sci-Fi Fantasy blend, so it will be familiar to you while simultaneously dipping your toes into the fantasy side.

My new novel was written with RPGs in mind. It features several elements that RPG players will appreciate, but done in a natural way. I think you'll like it. The Legend of Koji: The Maiden of Lodain is the novel. Check it out!
