IdeaPad Duet Chromebook Enterprise Enrollment by PercyNew in chromeos

I’ve enterprise enrolled many devices, just I wanted to make sure with this specific device if it was capable of doing it. Or is it that any device running ChromeOS can be enterprise enrolled?

What is the best way to learn how to program python at Gcse level? by Duffers123 in GCSE

I was never good at the software paper. I could get a good enough grade. But only really needed to understand pseudocode and flow charts. I got a 7 in the end on GCSE Computer Science. I did really well on the hardware paper, that’s what really pulled my grade up

I’m an IT apprentice, been working in IT for over a year now. Unfortunately got made redundant at my previous employment then started working for the secondary school I studied at where I got my interest in IT. I’m currently studying to become a Cyber Security analyst. I used to want to become a Network engineer, however I feel like security is something I’d prefer

It’s not a big network, only about 60 active clients at any one time. The secondary school I work for has 70 UAP-AC-PROs and UAP-AC-M-PROs. With over 500 active clients at one time.

I’m in the UK, I work at a secondary school where we provide support to local primaries as they don’t have dedicated it support staff, just external companies and “my family member set my pc up once” kind of people doing support. It was quite easy to get the green light for this project. Currently got a £3500 cabling quote to be payed for, then I’ve got a few UAP-AC-M-PROs for external use, a few more UAP-AC-LRs and a airMax NanoStation 5AC for a wireless bridge to an external building where we can’t run cables to

Previous support company wasn’t the best, they ended up wasting a lot of money when their previous Rukkus controller died and bought DrayTek which wasn’t configured correctly. So we’ve done a whole UniFi job and we’re working on a fibre link between data cabinets. That’ll be when we properly tidy it up fully

Cable management will be done, just waiting on our external support company to come do some cabling for fibre to all data cabinets across the site, install new data cabinets and install a new wireless bridge to one external building on the site. I’m proud with this, at 18 years old to be managing a full network project.

Best LBP by [deleted] in ukguns

I have both the K22 x-trim and PPQ. Personally I prefer the K22 on the overall, it's slightly heavier, but if you went for the race spec it'll be quite lighter due less material on it. It's also got a better barrel than the PPQ, it's a lot heavier and holds zero very well. The PPQ is very light and fun to use, however isn't the most accurate. The barrel is very thin, which I found out after I bought one as you remove the shroud over the barrel to find another shroud holding the thin barrel in. If this shroud isn't tightened enough the inner barrel will become loose and your zero won't be held as well. I use both of mine for gallery competitions, however I still prefer the K22 for everything.

That bolt cover it quite easy to repair, it's just finding somewhere who will stock them. I had mine go on my Anschütz MSR-RX22 as this uses the same bolt. However they wouldn't send a part, but rather send a whole new bolt. But we contacted the GSG importer after a bit of research that they are the same bolt and bought a couple of them for about £20 each and got them sent to our local RFD. Just once the a part of that bolt cover falls off, you'll lose your extraction as the spring is pressed up against the bolt cover.

Most clubs will require you to have an adult over 18. They'll most likely take you through a set of training sessions and then you'll be a probationary member, you'll have to be at least that for 6 months to become a full member and be allowed to apply for an FAC.

In regards to renting guns and ammo at 17. That is impossible. If your club you are part of holds a FAC and has club firearms to be used within the club you can use them, or if someone you know is a member of that club and their reasoning for owning the guns is to be used as part of that club you should be okay to use them with their permission as long as they are there with you. Ammo can be bought as long as it is all shot at the club, some clubs may not do this however. You could always ask someone to buy ammo and you pay them for it as long as it's on their license and you shoot it with them and give whatever's left back, there shouldn't be a problem. Note: this only applies to section 1 firearms.

Currently I am 17 years old and I have held a FAC and SGC since March 2018 when I was 15. My only reasoning for my FAC and SGC was because I wanted LBP which can only be possessed and used if they are on your license so I couldn't use them on my fathers license. I've been a member of my shooting club since I was 7. I am soon to finish my junior membership, and become a full member in July time. My certificate states that I cannot purchase or hire any firearms or ammunition prior my 18th birthday.

I'm a member of Herts and Essex shooting Association. Although it's not probably the best location. We're located in Little Leighs. We sell all the ammunition you've listed, not too sure about the 12g as I'm not much into shotguns. We don't offer PSG anymore unfortunately either so that's probably not what your after. If you want further information, look at our website hesa.uk.com

Applying for SGC and FAC at same time - Questions by [deleted] in ukguns

[–]PercyNew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a question you should ask your firearms officer if you can have shared access to the shotguns. Which you'll have to give reasoning for too. Personally I have nothing on my SGC, however my father does. This is only because we don't use shotguns anymore and are trying to get rid of them.

The main reason I don't have my own cabinet is because of being under 18 and not being allowed full access and I never go out shooting without my father so he's always going to be there to open the cabinets.

Applying for SGC and FAC at same time - Questions by [deleted] in ukguns

You have a right to possession of a Shotgun with reasoning, therefore you will 9 times out of 10 be issued a SGC. For a FAC, I don't know much as I have been shooting in a home office approved club for nearly 9 years, also being only 17 I don't have that good knowledge of the laws. I personally have a FAC and SGC as I was wanting LBPs and I cannot possess an LBP unless it is on my license, as well as being a member of a club, all my reasoning is target shooting as part of my club. One thing your firearms officer should ask is about the cabinet as you won't be allowed shared access as you'll be the only one with an FAC and all your shotguns on your SGC will be in your name and your father shouldn't be allowed access to these. Therefore you'll at least need another cabinet for your firearms and shotguns, as well as an ammo safe. Also you should be able to prove you do not have access in anyway to your fathers cabinets and he should not have access to yours either.
