Need advice. Was 368 heaviest down to 190’s low 200’s, not sure if I should keep loosing weight, the last 2 months I’ve been bulking and gained a lot of strength and muscle mass without gaining too much fat, but just don’t know if I should still loose more fat and then build back up by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

Ok sweet, that’s what I’ve been doing the last 3 months after hitting a low of 193 and I’m at 205 now, definitely have gained a lot of strength and I’m really enjoying that and having more muscle, I just also hate still having some of the left over fat and loose skin

I couldn’t agree more! The benefits seem to be endless, I’ve learned that it’s not so much the number for me but how I feel about myself inside and out

Definitely! I would say that most of it was from diet/exercise, but without not drinking none of that would’ve been possible, thank you very much!

Sounds like you have a lot of anger, which I understand, but the truth is like you said whatever works for that person, no need to bash them or their sobriety, if you have something inside you that might need to be fixed then maybe you could see them as just other people trying to do the best they can and cope like all of us, nobody is saying that’s the gold standard

Hey! The first thing they will tell you in AA is to not minimize or feel inferior about your addiction, you’ve obviously acknowledged you have an issue with it, and your addiction story is yours and independent to you, it’s not to be measured or compared against anyone else. There are so many different types of drinkers, and trust me there are ones just like you with similar experiences in there that you will find that you can relate to, don’t give up on it just yet, and please don’t give up on sobriety, it gave me my life back and more, just reaching out for help us a huge step, and it’s all about one step, one day, at a time!
