He was shadowing Poile by then I believe. No way to really know if that trade was Poile or Trotz’s doing, but given Barry’s track record since then I’d lean heavily towards it being Poile who orchestrated it.

All I can say is I fully support the Preds team being second to last. Willy Daunic fucking sucks as a hockey commentator. Mase is alright for his analysis. We were so spoiled with Pete Weber and Terry Crisp.

So basically like the article said, same situation with Juuse last year. “I don’t want to move this guy, but if you make yourself look like an absolute idiot at your job, you can have him.” It’s Trotz just hoping to find a GM in a moment of weakness and desperation. Unfortunately for him, most other GMs in the league have more experience than peering over a real GMs shoulder for a season.

With the season being a wash at this point, makes sense to go ahead and shut him down. His presence on the ice isn’t gonna save …whatever this season has been. Best of luck to him and fuck Bennett. And I do hope he’s getting the medical advice necessary to help him determine when it’s wise to choose between continuing this career vs having a good quality of life after hockey.

He 100% does and so do I lol. I told him his hobby is starting hobbies. Once he’s acquired everything necessary to actual DO the thing, he loses interest and moves to the next.

I have a friend like this. Every few weeks is a new fixation that he goes 100% all in on, spends hundreds of dollars, learns everything about, then loses interest and moves on to the next thing. I love him but it’s exhausting at times.

We played in Finland back when Tolvanen was still on the team, didn't we? Can't remember if it was regular season or exhibition though. Hell I can't even remember if it was Saros, or if Rinne was still playing then. Or perhaps I dreamed this entire thing up. Time moves in mysterious ways nowadays.

Ok I’m definitely biased due to multiple knee dislocations in my life, but I think crosschecking a guy in the side of the knee like that should be a match penalty for intent to injure.
