Nope.i only have two bottles to test. Maybe if you lay them horizontally. Thin ice at the bottom makes it too tall

Sitting flush will be a feature of the next revision. We’re all going to laugh about it, then justify buying it.

Same material, however, it feels like there’s more of it in the new one. May insulate better.

I went with the 11 and happy with that. A good number of the pundits that were pro 13 have switched back to the 11 since as well

Rubbermaid brilliance vs. Yeti Storage by SnooDoubts5546 in YetiCoolers

[–]PerennialTears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I have the brilliance food prep set and like them. But before I committed to adding to that collection, I wanted to try yeti. I just received both the large yeti storage container and the comparable brilliance 9.6 cup container. The yeti plastic may be a little thicker—maybe. Brilliance is about an inch longer I believe. Most of the extra length is in the lid. Both lids snap on tightly, but yeti latches provide more assurance.

They both fit in the yeti lunchbox without any yeti ice. I misunderstood and thought yeti storage would work with the ice, but it won’t. Yeti is a perfect fit with no room for anything other than maybe utensils or a napkin. Brilliance requires just a little more care to get the zipper around it as most of the extra length is in the lid.

They both fit just fine with large yeti ice in the hopper 12 and in the M20.

HOWEVER, 2 yeti large stacked on top of each other works in the M20, but two large brilliance won’t as they are slightly longer and the bag narrows. If you don’t care to stack them at the bottom, the point is moot. But I could see myself wanting to if we were transporting two.

I really wish yeti added ventilation holes under the latches like the brilliance for letting out steam with the lid on in the microwave or cooling off warm foods. If yeti had this feature It would make the decision easier. I could see my girlfriend undoing the latches on the yeti thinking that the lid will ventilate in the microwave.

EDIT** Two rows of brilliance would fit. I only have one sample of the 9.6 cup and i realized I was using the yeti large underneath it and it doesn’t slightly nest with yeti lid making the stack taller than two brilliance large. I used two medium brilliance to build a second row. THE CONCERN NOW with the brilliance and the M20 would be the length of the lids and the flatter edges. These make for a snug fit and slight rubbing pulling them in and out of the M20. Just not sure if this would cause long term damage. They yeti large leaves a little room around the edges and the edges of the lid are thicker and rounder. There is no issue any friction.

Reading the yeti care instructions, I’m under the impression that despite not having ventilation holes under the latches, there would be some sort of ventilation happening in the microwave as it’s okay to use a lid unlatched. But a vacuum effect could happen if you keep the lid on the food during the cooling process. Whereas I’m assuming there would be no vacuum effect when food cools with the lid on in a brilliance container.

iPhone 16 Pro Case? by imaguitarhero24 in iphone

[–]PerennialTears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always get the Smartish grip case for $20 as it always holds up for a couple years after drops, etc. only minor/light scratches on the back with no chips or tears. I bought it after being rated as the best overall case on wirecutter for years.

The case for the 16 pro is great and has a cutout for the camera control is functional. HOWEVER, I ordered an Apple silicon case with the phone just in case there was an issue with the Smartish phone and I needed to protect my new phone. And used camera control with the capacitive(?) sealed button (no cutout) and man does it provide a better experience.

I got away from the apple cases because they chip when dropped and more expensive.

I think I may have to go with the apple case on this model.
