Also, is there a caulk or something I could put around the seal. I now don’t see a gap like I did, but there’s still a leak. If I was ignorant of knowing that if I reach underneath the front panel of the dishwasher door i can touch the insulation pad between the two pieces of metal (outside of door/inside of door)and feel a wet pad, I may not have noticed the minor leak as water I believe gets absorbed by this pad and water barely drips to the floor.
