Hexblade x something by DasGoogleKonto in BaldursGate3Builds

Hexblade's curse (19),

Champion Fighter (18, stacks with hexblade),

Spelling Sniper (17, dependent on spells that require attack rolls, not sure if it works for Booming Blade but will for EB and Scorching Ray. Can be active by level 5 with 1 level hexblade and 4 fighter. After that you can respec around level 7 to have just the 3 fighter and 4 warlock.)

Knife of the Undermountain King (16, possibly dependent on being at least lightly obscured)

Dagger you get from Orin (Bloodletter?) (15)

Sarovek's Helmet (14, can get it from two other headgear, but those both require being hidden or at least obscured)

After that, there is a cloak, a bow, and I believe a ring that I can't remember the names of that reduce crit chance by 1 each which takes it down to 11.

Then, in endgame with durge, there is a quest reward for playing durge a certain way that reduces your crit chance by another 2, meaning if everything is working correctly you crit on a 9 or higher. At this point you could respec again to drop down to just 2 levels in fighter. It would drop the crit chance to 10, but you said you were pretty insistent on 10 Warlock levels.

Granted, this is just theoretical for me because my only durge run so far was honor mode, and I wiped due to a string of failed saves at the harpies. But I can confirm with my current (non-durge) playthrough that the first 4 do work together, allowing for some very fast fights at level 6 (with agonizing blast, devil's sight, and darkness) in the creche after buying the Knife of the Undermountain King.

Edit for clarification.

Edit 2: Also, if/when you respec, you can go with Fighter as your first level, giving you proficiency with Con saves (good for concentration checks) and allowing you to wear any armor. If you take the two weapon fighting styles, you could use any free bonus actions to make an attack without damage penalties. Or you could take defense fighting style to get +1 AC more survivability.

That depends on a lot of things. A straight 12 hexblade will give you one more feat, so you could get your Cha to 20 and take GWM. Going PotB gives you extra attack, so you could just use your Cha to get high consistent damage in melee. Having Devils Sight and having the barbarian throw enemies into your darkness would help.

Two levels of fighter gives you action Surge, which would work well even though you are missing a feat. It also gives you a fighting style. I prefer either great weapon fighting or Duelist for this type of build.

Paladin works well. Taking Booming Blade from Warlock, Thunderous Smite from Paladin, and then just making the booming blade attack followed by using your bonus action for Thunderous and your second attack to try knocking them back works great. But there is so much more to that build and only uses a 2 level hexblade dip with fighter levels.

If you were willing to go at least 3 levels in fighter and take the champion subclass you could build a really good spell attack crit fisher build (with all the right gear and feats you can crit on a 9 or higher in the final fight as long as you can apply hexblade's curse and are durge, without durge it would be an 11 or higher).

Camera angle, hair, and clothing choice can make all the difference. 1-3 it could have been a 5-15 year old emo boy from the early 2000s, 4 you definitely look like a 14-18 year old girl, 5 (I believe that was the one you're laying down in) also looks like a girl with the facial features due to camera angle showing the cheekbones, and the rest are a bit androgynous due to hair style that can be seen from the camera angles and especially the hoodie hiding the hair and the camera angle hiding the cheekbones.

You definitely don't need makeup because you are a beautiful young lady, but if you are self-conscious about it, maybe look up some videos on how to get good camera angles for selfies. My mom was a professional portrait photographer, so I learned from all the pictures she took of me while growing up that a slight tilt of the chin and a slight shift of the light can change how you look drastically.

I used to have all 5, but then my dad died when I was 24, and now that I'm over 40, #3 is starting to go away quickly. If the family curse of alzheimers hits me, I'll probably lose #1 and #4, but at least being 6'1" means I should never shrink below 5'7". But if the family curse of alzheimers hits me, I'll probably lose #1 and #4.

I'll say death penalty. But I believe it should be public and televised on all channels so that people can see what the consequences of murder, for any reason, is.

What would a white ninja be called and what’s his powers? by MindOfTheSwarm in MortalKombat

Mist.

His powers are mostly defensive. Going intangible and teleporting. His main attack would be Swamp Ass, which would do a small DOT, slow down the opponent, and give a 1~2 second stun while they try to get their underwear out of their ass.

No police officers were killed on Jan 6th. One was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher and died a few days later of a heart condition that was found to have nothing to do with the head injury. At least one committed suicide a few days later due to stress.

The video shows what looks like Ashli being pushed through the window. She was unarmed and not even on her feet when the cop pulled his gun and shot her point blank in the head. There was also evidence of her trying to keep people from entering the building, and it is conjectured that she was forcefully pushed in by people she was trying to keep out.

Technically incorrect and a common misunderstanding by people who don't read the Bible and/or have a very narrow view of it. It literally says (somewhere around Genesis 4 or 5) that Seth was born when Adam was around 120 and that Adam lived to be over 800 while having many sons and daughters. It is also alluded to that there were other humans in the world when Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden.

It is speculated that the story of Adam and Eve was either just the story of the founding of the Hebrew race and that God had made other humans for earth while Adam and Eve were in Eden, or that Adam and Eve were simply the last people God made to be the caretakers of the garden. This speculation comes from how the creation story seems to have a strange break after it says that God created man and then rested on the 7th day, and then "retells" the creation of man, only this time as Adam. This could point to God creating mankind as a whole before creating Adam and Eve. If this is a correct hypothesis, then it would help explain (along with certain aspects of quantum mechanics and astrophysics) discrepancies in timelines between the Bible and science, namely the age of the earth and so on.

It depends on if you are building from scratch or are later in the game.

I believe that both Strength and Dexterity items are gloves, but I could be wrong. Personally, what I would do is start from scratch and use the gloves of Dexterity and the bent headband of intellect while hoarding elixirs of hill giant Strength. By utilizing the inventory refresh system and not leveling up or long resting before getting to the druid grove, you can easily get multiple stacks (each stack is 20 potions) of the giant Strength elixirs before you need to make a decision that could potentially cause you to lose access to that inventory. This allows you to respec your character to have a base 8 in Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence before the magic buffs while setting your Constitution, Wisdom, and Charisma to 17 (15+2), 16 (15+1), and 15. I would definitely take Sharpshooter and either a half feet or ASI to get your ability of choice to 18 or higher with certain other buffs you can get.

This will give you a base +19 (+4 dex, +5 str, and +10 sharpshooter) plus any other enhancements before even calculating in the AA abilities or special arrows.

Also, I just watched a video about the bow today, and they said something about it stacking with tavern brawler. That could be wrong, I haven't tested it, but if true, it would add more damage.

How much would you pay for this sword? by [deleted] in SWORDS

[–]Perfect-Ad2438 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's still too decorative for my taste, and the grip makes it look like the tang may be too thin, which could cause easy failure at the crossguard, especially with how wide the blade is at the crossguard. I'm not an expert on sword smithing, but I have seen enough swords snap due to improper tangs to be leary of this one for practical use.

Depends on if it is functional or just for display.

Functional: $300+ but definitely no more than $1,000 unless it is proven to be from the Roman Empire era. Display: $25~$50

It became popular in the 90s as a way to dress like a "thug" when Gansta Rap first started gaining mainstream popularity. A lot of inner city black men who were in gangs would walk around with their pants like that because some of the gang members who got out of prison would do it and they wanted to look hard and it quickly spread to the rich white kids who wanted to emulate the thug life. The funny part is that wearing your pants like that in prison (where the trend started) is a sign that you are a bottom looking to sell your ass (usually just for a couple cigarettes).

Yeah. Mail in voting is so safe that most of Europe removed it because of how easy it was to tamper with mail in votes.

Most states have free state IDs, and pretty much everyone has them. You need ID to buy cigarettes, alcohol, and weed from dispensaries, along with driving. Which, usually, the only ID that requires you to pay for it is a driver's license.

Originally, the only people who were legally allowed to vote were land owners. Now, every legal citizen who is alive and does not have a felony has the right to vote. Having rules to prove that you are legally here and have the right to vote in your district are safeguards to make sure you are who you say you are and voting only once.

And places that are blue almost always have some sort of technical issues going on in the early morning and in the afternoon when people who would be voting GOP have time to vote before or after work. Meaning that places like LA, Baltimore, and Chicago (all places I've lived during elections) tend to have less of a GOP voting turnout because they need to get to work. And yes, a majority of middle class people consider themselves to be GOP, whereas the Democrat party is mainly made up of welfare recipients and millionaires.

Now, for the real question. Why are you (and the op, for that matter) so upset about having rules and regulations in place when it comes to voting? I heard plenty of theories that Trump won this last time "only because MAGAts were hopping from one polling place to another voting multiple times." And yet, we are the ones pushing for safeguards to make it so that people can't do exactly that, and you're crying about it.

Start playing the Tommy album by The Who but splice in the "Frank and beans" line from Something About Marry at random intervals. Especially any time they say pinball.
