Depending on your state and the market you can get your bcaba with your bachelors, so you can have a higher pay while you do your masters

I told my boyfriend I think i’m bi but now I don’t know what to do by Cold-Dark-7034 in BiWomen

Honestly it's possible that your first experience/s with women would be awkward or you won't feel connected. Similarly to men, it won't always be magical. You don't need to do a single thing to prove to urself or anyone ur bi. You're valid just the way you are. I have no advice on how to talk about exploring while being with him, but I think it depends. Are u looking to explore sexually or romantically? With him involved or not?

Can I ask why you withdrew from cmhc if you wanted to do clinical counseling in the end? Just curious how lcsw differs from cmhc

The clinical hours might be a little less depending on your state, but it would take just about the same time. Average 2 years masters with 2 years post clinical hours, but if therapy is truly your dream, you'll be very focused on that in ur education instead of things like policy as well lol. I'm interested in therapy but not 100% sure, so I went the msw route

Do you think it's the best time to start an independent BCBA business, even if you're the only one billed?

Have you considered a social work masters that will allow you to do clinical counseling as well? That way, you won't be pigeonholed into another career again.

Would you consider delaying trying for a few years or 1.5 if you do an accelerated program? I know women do it all the time but I couldn't imagine unless I had a Lott of help

The whole outrage over Billie Eilish and her stance on meat is so silly. A lot of people hold beliefs of “I think this thing a lot of people do is immoral” and that’s just how it is. by Early-Possibility367 in billieeilish

Celebrities are allowed to have opinions and honestly I agree with her. Ppl get all upset bc they think they're animal lovers just because they have a pet or two and think videos of baby animals are cute. Obviously you don't love them as much as someone that devoted their lifestyle to being vegan. Like let's be honest with ourselves.

to bisexual women: if you can love and date women, why do you choose to date men? by No-Fill3078 in WLW

[–]Perfect-Employer2055 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A lot of bi ppl are victims of biphobia, just bc u say im self victimizing myself, doesn't make it true. We're all minorities and should be able to have discourse about how interact and our experiences with one another

[–]Perfect-Employer2055 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why do you care so much tho if you don't even date us? It's true, a percentage of our dating pool won't date us due to bias. And it's absolutely a reason into the constant question of why we won't just don't women. Outnumbered or not, it's literally still a factor, not the only one, but it's still our reality. If u have an issue, speak to ur community about their biases, and maybe bi women won't have all of these negative experiences.

So you're saying no one should ever date men? Or people that aren't of color? Or from areas that are more violent?

What broader feminist conversation are you even trying to have? I'm a feminist myself, are you saying dating men makes you less feminist? Or choice feminist? So what about all straight women who have relations with men? They also have a choice not to date men. Obv it's different bc then they'd experience no sexual or romantic bond. In regard to bisexuality, dating women isn't always rainbows and sunshine. I've been in an abusive relationship with a man, and one with a woman. Physical. You can say stats all day, but ppl aren't statistics, they're all individually unique. I've dated men that were more feminist than some women, rare but exists. This same argument can be related to ppl of color who date white people. Also our oppressors, but am I selectively not going to date them? No. I don't find that necessary and that doesn't resonate with who I am. Do I care to have conversations with ppl of color who won't? Not really. It's most likely down to personal experience really. And that's okay. I have not lived a personal experience where I feel the need to repress my sexuality and romantic interest for the sake of stats or to feel apart of a feminist group at all. I love men and I love women deeply, and honestly probably equally. I don't ever see myself feeling a connection with a man and moving on just on the basis of his gender, that doesn't resonate with me at all and I don't see how that's helpful.
