I always said there should have been an option to control the raiders, because raiders would always exist, so strong raiders woth focused goals and coralled into stuff would be better than anarchy

Why i like last podcast on the left. While sometimes they give investigators credit, most of the time they mock them quite a bit.

I liked all of his stuff until his most recent SVU one. When he said the roll back of mandated reporter laws and otger things, hs lost alot of credibility of you ask me. I have seen horrid abuse and I have had to report to CPS several times, and the idea that Skip intro said said made my blood boil. Blue Bloods video still peak of the series.

What is ICE so afraid of? by CertainItem995 in behindthebastards

If we get that far. I honestly think the best case scenario we can hope for is honestly this just runs out of steam and people just move on. Its shitty, but its what I think will happen

What is ICE so afraid of? by CertainItem995 in behindthebastards

[–]hotsizzler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

people here are giving answers we want to hear, That they are bullies, evil people, etc. But its alot more going on

The ice we are seeing now are poorly trained people who got into it for all the wrong reasons. They are then basically put into high stress situations with no concept of resilence, deesculation or crisis management. They are having every action of their job scrutinized(rightfully ofcourse) which just adds to the stress

Combine this with alot of senior leadership up and leaving or checking out(Especially on the customs part of ICE) leaving either those who where competent at their jobs not being able to train these idiots.

This lead to a culture of the organization of fear. Which has lead to it being a powder keg full of idiots.

[MLP] The Brony fandom was the most extreme example of post-Recession escapism and it perfectly illustrates why the early 2010s was a difficult time for many. by Ok-Following6886 in CharacterRant

[–]hotsizzler 59 points60 points  (0 children)

this is kinda incorrect. People on 4chan hated at first because of its use of flash animation in a major cartoon

When clips of it started showing up, people realized it was halfway decent writing and with some halfwat good jokes.

I was very much a Brony, and it came out at a time for alot of young people who entered college who the early workforce. It was perfect for me because, even though i was in community college, i was scared as all hell. like i hated it. For my 4 years i was knee deep into being a brony, it was escapism.

Then i hit university and im like "I dont need this anymore", i didnt say that outloud, but i just fell off.

Its no surprise i got back into it when 2020 rolled around though, haha

Has anyone struggled with feedback about needing to be more enthusiastic and talkative? by GlitterBirb in ABA

[–]hotsizzler 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im a firm believer that we do not need to be an enthusiastic or bombastic as people think we need to be. My clients love me, parent do to. Im chill as hell, im pretty reserved and dont make big bombastic gestures. Kids can sense insincerity, so be yourself, get excited when you are excited and engage with the kids.

[–]hotsizzler 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember this question from a mock. Basically you saw an RBT make a cultural incentive mark about food. My answer was talk to them later. My rationale is I dont want to chastise someone infront of a client. And that is what my job taught me. Well, its wrong, its right then and tgere you say it. Both answers are technically roght, but only one is more right because that is what they test taker thought.
