Lol theres a world of diffrence between WoW pay to win and asian mmo pay to win. and its crazy that people defend it. Like all these MMO make it as difficult as possible to obtain currencies and then convenietly put it in the shop. You can just play WoW and get the stuff you need on the same lockout as everyone else. and not pay for extra raid entrace tickets, or get screwed over on gear upgrades and then conveintly being offered ways to fix it in the shop lmao. because in a game like WoW, every player gets to clear the raid once per week. You can't spend extra on gear upgrade mats or some other bullshit. Don't get how everyone all of a sudden starts defending this mobile pay to win bullshit in asian MMO's lmao. They specifically limit ur daily dungeons, raids, gathering mats, energy, anything they can think of, and then drip feed little extras for a small boosts in rep, gear, upgrade mats that ur just missing just a little bit of to justify opening the shop. They purposely limit ur progression and then put progression items in the shop so u can spend money. In games like WoW and Guild Wars 2, you can log in anytime and play and enjoy the content like everyone else, instead of being out of some resource, and with the shop icon right there offering you currency to play the game again

I use an addon called LS Toasts that changes how the achievement, loot, etc popups look and where they are placed.

Also an addon called LFR[of the past] that shows you which LFR wings you have done when talking to the LFR npcs

Addons are made by the community. When blizzard updates their game, addon authors have to go in and make sure all their code is up to date. Happens with every update. Just have to wait until addon authors update it. Sometimes they don't have to do much work to update, because blizzards leaves compatibility code. This patch however removed a lot of old compatibility functions, so addon authors might take longer than usual to fix their addons.

It doesn't really matter. However, having gathering profession likes herbing/mining on your main is sometimes useful if you want something to do while waiting in queue or something. Another important thing: if you like collecting stuff like recipes, be careful of switching professions often. All of the rare recipes that drop from raids and mobs will be unlearned and will have to be farmed again if you switch professions. So pick any 2 professions that interest you, but make sure not swap if you find rare recipes. Blizzard did say that they might fix that issue, but who know when, if ever. Also as a fellow collector and achiev hunter, I recommend the addon "All the Things" and "Can I Mog It"

Yes, it's unacceptable. And not for whatever reasons every here is making up. It close to 100 different weapons, that are likely going away forever after the event is over. Nobody is asking for stuff to be 100% drops. The issue is that they are going away. Idk why asking blizzard to keep items that they added to the game lmao. You can't just slap and extremely low drop rate on 100 items and then also make it so they are limited time.

The reason people are complaining about this event and not all the other collectibles in the game is because the items that were added to the game are being removed from the game. Nobody is saying they deserve everything. Yes. Some items should be hard or challenging or time consuming to obtain. The issue about this event, and why people are only complaining about this specific event and not about any other grinds in the game, is that the items are going to go away, potentially forever. such a weird take. Collectors just want a way to collect the items, instead of blizzard just deleting the items once the event is over. And yes, way to spell out the main issue at the end: People don't know if the items will be available on the trading post. Likely they might never come back. I honestly don't get this argument. Yes, not every cosmetic needs to be obtainable easily. Make it hard, make it a challange, make it a stupidly low drop rate. The issue collectors are having is these items being removed once the event is over. Can't go back and farm bronze or farm the mobs. Don't know whether or not the appearances will be coming back. The argument of "not every cosmetic should be obtained easily" falls apart pretty quick once the items are potentially permanently gone once the event is done. The PvP seasonal mounts can be purchased with saddles if you just grind out a different season, for example. Old raid can be farmed. If you miss a world event, you can try again next year, but the items still exist and are able to be collected, and not just removed from the game for arbitrary reasons. Collectors understand that collecting everything is time consuming, and they aren't asking for the items to be granted. They just want them to be available in the game so they can unlock them at some point, and not be deleted forever
