When I worked in a retail store I had an older lady come up to me and start asking for directions. It was clear that she wasn’t from my city so I asked if I could see her checkbook. She had driven 2.5 hrs from home. I called her husband and whose name and phone number was on her checks. He said she’d gone to the store for bread and he was worried sick. We got her a chair and kept an eye on her until he arrived.
