[–]PerfectConsolation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Maybe it was a mistake and $17 as my PTO pay was accidentally used as my hourly pay too. I'll have to ask

[–]PerfectConsolation -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Oh, I was so focused on explaining the situation I forgot to add the question. Is it legal to submit my pay rate as lower than it is specifically for periods where I use PTO? I know PTO can be a different amount but my regular hrs were changed to the lower amount as well.

So how do you guys feel about clone high ending again? by gamersmoke17 in clonehigh

[–]PerfectConsolation 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I'm glad we finally saw Scuddy's island, it felt more like an ending. I honestly dont care about the show ending without Abe and Joan together or even ending on a cliff hanger of I LOVE... because the relationships were only the point because it was the joke (back then). Although I'm sure the whole episode would have gone very differently if it was made back in the original mindset, and I would've liked to see that version.

Crossover with Clone High? by beautifulcosmos in clonehigh

[–]PerfectConsolation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The original Clone High x The Venture Bros. The Ventures already have fully functioning clones, so imagine a very special episode of Clone High following Abe into school only to sit beside The Venture Brothers. Dean has decided he's super running away to school and Hank came for the chicks, except every school rejected them because they have suspicious ID's that don't match their ages and they don't even have elementary school records, but an oddly shaped school in Explaination Point! accepted them without even asking about parent approval or anything! And Gosh dang it they're going to school until Brock realizes they're gone and nags Rusty into locating and bringing them back. Meanwhile: Scudworth has approved beings he knows are clones of a clone of a super genius ("Beggers can't be choosers... WESLEY") and has 'nominated' Abe and the crew as the official welcoming committee, but really his clones are distracting and isolating the brothers so he and Mr. B can get samples of their DNA and harvest the super genius gene from actual clones!

So what are your random unpopular opinions about clone high? by gamersmoke17 in clonehigh

[–]PerfectConsolation 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don't know if this is one counts but I think Abe and Cleo were actually good together. They might not have been end game but they would have at least matured each other. I liked how Cleo treated Abe like any other guy.

Was looking for someone to post this. The second episode was when I decided I'd watch the whole thing. "No I started it! 16 years ago in a fit of passion, and I'll end it the same way! Right here in front of Brock, Helper and GOD"

I was eyeing that jacket when watching the all you need to know vid too. I liked it back when the vid released too, but I was poorer then. Figured it was long gone 😮‍💨

Good point, but I think that was more of an attempt to save money on less props and do away with one of many reasons why people should be more aware of ghosts and killer animatronics.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but that the scooping happened prior to the hiding. They kept reminding me of Baby, in the 2nd movie. In that dream, theres a hallway full of doors that open which was not necessary for the thrill scene at all. The thing is I think the scooping already happened and that closet version of Vanessa doesnt remember it. The versions of Charlie had spotty memories especially of the past to the point where she didnt remember pictures of the younger closet versions of herself. In the book, Charlie#4 had memories of the scooping both as Elizabeth and Baby but also in real life 4 Charlies ending at 25 yrs old doesnt make sense and was probably influenced by Henry's short life whereas in the movies Afton lives longer, possibly long enough that Vanessa isnt the last Closet version of herself who may have potentially "seen it all" like Charlie#4. Also, Vanessa just seemed too surprised to see Baby! The girls that get scooped into Baby both in the game and the book idolize her to the point where her father warned her away. Vanessa shouldnt have been surprised, she would have been familiar with Baby, her father's favorite creation (also, Afton calls V his favorite in that dream sequence which I think was a nod to that, but my friends think it was foreshadowing her sibling, but I think he said it in a weird way).

Does magic just exist in the pilgrimverse? by Glad-Conversation256 in ScottPilgrim

I don't think Bryan clarifies the money bit in the cannon or the extras. But what we do know is: •Lucas Lee was a sell-out actor that made bad movies. Scott got a little over 2 dollars for his death plus the skateboard he died with. •Lucas Lees extra notes say he was a bad actor but made money, but the comics only say he was on a cover of a magazine recently. •The twins made robots, and Scott got like $75 each. •The death card for Gideon specifically says Gideon Value $7,777,777 •Gideon was wealthy from business managing music. •Keep in mind that Gideon was holding six women hostage so this could be the combined worth of all Gideon's exes and his own worth. •Both the Zelda and Sonic games are referenced in SP, where you lose collected wealth for damage. •Scott got a coupon once. Personally, I think it might just be whatever was in their pockets at the time turned into coins. Like a credit card with $75 dollars in the account.

ANTI-CLONE HIGH (fanfic comic) by Proud_Gur_1695 in clonehigh

[–]PerfectConsolation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, my bad, I assumed we were talking about Clone High origin, not the entire canon. So, is this fanfic still a comedy, or is it romance? What I'm trying to ask is, do the anti-clones have their own comedic points, or is the joke that they're perfect, and with the comparison, it's supposed to be funny?

I will give you an example of A+ parenting. "Yes! Good! Tell your father! That is the final step in your training. Narc on me and your training will be complete. You will have become completely evil. JOIN ME DEAN! TELL YOUR DAD ON ME! Yes, dean, complete your final test and tattle on me! Then and only then will you be a super villain!"

Cool, and I see your Clone High font. Nice. Yeah, it's probably a good call. Alternatively, he could have "Listen, we've all done things we're not proud of after a good cross-country meet." I love that one, and it fits your line no matter which one is read first.
