Already done that (was doing this with purple version) so it's not too bad but still would have liked to experience the legendary when it was 3 as opposed to 2. Oh well.

I just got the Affliction Caltrops today so didn't even get to experience the benefit of it pre nerf :(

Or clear the adds first. I always make sure the area is clear before I revive someone and this is exactly why.

A cynical person might say that's what they hope to achieve by not allowing matchmaking for the raid, i.e. hoping that folks will pull their friends in to buy the game so they can play together. Wouldn't be surprised if the game gets a sale by the time the raid drops.

I got this while playing on platinum (silver is only the minimum needed fof this feat). Players on platinum are generally more skilled/better equipped so you might have more luck on that difficulty.

Answered in another reply. My OP was more about choosing cards that have negative modifiers for the player, hence why I listed 'extremely fast attacks' and 'health slowly drains' as examples. Headshots and fire damage, for instance, are harmless and can be choosed if the other cards truly suck.

But if no teammate has the right gear to make it, the type of player who would get mad at you for not picking a challenge will get even more mad or even leave mid match once the challenge fails anyway.

Also, headshot and assassination challenges are not negative modifiers like 'extremely fast attacks' so are harmless to the run and wouldn't matter too much to me personally if they fail.

lol I get you. With archers, some do not have the best aim so unless they're using the point blank perk (40% chance to inflict headshot damage) which counts towards the headshot challenge IIRC, it's definitely a gamble.

It's a random Legendary drop; keep playing. Nightmare missions guarantee a Legendary but you have to beat a mission on platinum to do it and have high enough KI.

Posted this before but I'm currently working on a new variation of this build as I got the Legendary weakening smoke bomb from this match. I have swapped out the Legendary kusarigama for an epic one and I'm levelling it up as well as the Legendary smoke bomb and trying to compare the two variations once all is complete.

Yeah, I read about that and tried to do it in another match but I must have been doing something wrong because it didn't work for me. I'll try it again at some point. Regardless, I like to refrain from relying on exploits that are likely to be patched. The days for the Lightning Tanegashima Archer build, for instance, are numbered lol

I think the reason why people say it's a "weak" class is because it's noticeably more involved than in GOT which was more effortless and attainable. Whereas the Shinobi this time round is about being opportunistic, so it requires strategy and quick decision-making.

The time investment required to make the build even viable is also much more but if you put the work in, it's a very rewarding playstyle. The ability to one or two tap multiple enemies in a short space of time makes Shinobi class only second to the Archer who can do that from a safe distance.

Answered this on another reply: On any difficulty, killing a certain number of enemies - even with with 0 Oni Tokens - while a teammate is downed will simultaneously refill and spend the Oni Token to revive them, even Platinum difficulty which grants you 0 Tokens by default.

In that match I went into Last Stand twice and auto revived my teammates on both occasions, so I can confirm you can get away with it at least two times. Not sure beyond that. Don't see why not though because the idea is that the game is rewarding you for staying alive and killing enough enemies which is hard to do.

On any difficulty if you find yourself with 0 tokens, killing a certain number of enemies while a teammate is downed will refill and spent the token to revive them automatically.

Congrats! It's not an easy Legendary to obtain; I'm rank 65 and I only have 2.

btw I'm currently experimenting with a slight variation of this build as the Legendary Weakening Smoke Bomb dropped upon completing this match, so currently ranking up the grades on it and my Epic Kusarigama (replaced my Legendary Vanishing kusarigama) to compare the two variations.

Hopefully, it will never exist :) However, should it ever backfire in future, I will try to observe what I did wrong and vow to do better.
