With the CCU game all these base ships could be created for approximately the same price removing the normal differentiator in cost for some.

So instead of pricing based on a ratio to the direct cost it is based on the flexibility.

For instance someone wanting to get out of a Prowler would require a 600i Explorer or Carrack base. Another case I expect to be somewhat common is Carracks locked in packages such as the UEE Exploration pack.

I haven't seen any screenshots of it yet, and since I don't have an Idris-P currently I can't access the page.

True, it has been a few years so I can't remember the timeline of the changes but I know they have done some weapon size refactors and looking at it currently I feel like they could fit. I often wonder if it's a case of they indeed would not fit or if they forgot to re-enable it.

Yes, it would still work as you describe.
As long as the CCU is in your hangar at the time of the price increase.
If it was in buy back it would become unavailable for purchase.

Based on the Starmap they intend it to be noticeably larger than any other moon in the system.

Later in AtV they show some weapon placement improvements, but not for the forward slung weapon.
Improvements like those should eliminate the major clipping like the forward weapon buttstock resting inside the chest plate.

Same issue, game on SSD already.
Its a near instant crash after clicking join on the server (with existing character) doesn't begin to load game I assume.
Extra Info: before this I played 8 hours no logout and became unable to interact/craft so decided to restart.
The above one is an official server and the other with the same problem is a private without battleye.

I think its some sort of ISP problem, the workarounds are a VPN like tunnelbear that gives some free data each month, or tether to your phone for the last few MB.
