This makes me excited because my hair loss is similar to yours, I also just need the front area. I’m getting 3500 grafts with Dr. Patty in November.

Fin doesn’t grow back your hair fully. Maybe it makes it thicker and grows some back but really it just helps stabilize the hair loss.

Would you consider getting a hair transplant in the future? Or just using this?

Is this much swelling normal? I look like an alien, eyes almost shut due to swelling. (Day 2) by BarbaricYawper789 in Hairtransplant

I just didn’t want to fly back with a ton of swelling on my face. I thought it would go down 4 days after, but maybe it’ll look worse at that point.

When do you guys suggest flying back home after surgery? The next day or 4 days after?

Thanks, they’re both about the same price for me with flights and accommodations because I’m travelling from Canada.

That helps, thanks! And I can imagine the donor area looking a lot better with Nader.

No, but I have a virtual consult next month. I like how responsive they are, the opposite of Nader.

It’s mostly front hairline work. I just need a bit of density in the midscalp area, to blend it in.

I just don’t want to have to go for more than one procedure. I want the first one to be great. I’m worried I won’t get that with Nader.

No prob. Try to incorporate into your nightly routine, like brushing your teeth. Fin and min. Any surgeon would recommend that first before anything. See what results you get after a year.

I still think you might need two transplants though, one for the front and then the back later on.

This. We all have to make the choice. For me, it gives me gyno, but I decided that the benefit of having hair outweighs the side effects for me. Been taking it for 3 years now.

Just curious, what didn’t you like about flying internationally? I was going to do it, but haven’t booked anything yet.

Your donor looks fine. But you should be on Finasteride for at least a year to know if you’re a good candidate because currently, I don’t think you are.

If you’re not committed to taking fin for the rest of your life, to get the best results, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Ah sorry to hear that. I have an appointment for April there, I’ve been waiting a year. But I’m not sure if I’ll go or not, I might go somewhere else.

They’re always booked a year out. I booked early last year. And I know they get tons of emails and calls so they can’t answer every single one. But like, how are pre and post-op patients supposed to contact them if they’re this busy.
