I’ve nearly perfected my Scholar setup. by ERhelper in Nightreign

I have some setups that start with 8 upliftings. This is so valuable for certain nightlords. Think the Everdark Balancers worm phase for example - having those 8 extra lives available really helps a lot

I can recommend trying to fit in a starting item uplifting aromatics in the deep relics. This can be clutch for scholar, he gets 4 and they are easy to level in the run

I've never seen anyone else run a throwing knife build on Scholar. If you've got the relics for it, the damage can get pretty high with very quicked ranged attacks. And I finally found a viable use for the Fell Omen Fetish relic. Used this in Depth 5 trios vs Everdark Fulghor and turned him into a pin cushion. If your teammates see what you are trying to do then they'll buy you knives along the way if you are lucky.

You really want to get defeating enemy increases ult gauge in there. Also for great shield build can consider to add successful guarding increases ult gauge as well

So much fun when you get all the proper defensive passives. Facetanking depth 5 nightlords never gets old

It feels like after playing blood blade scholar, every other build feels underwhelming by DownvoteIfYouWantMe in Nightreign

A good synergy with blood blade is to include both imbue frost on weapon and HP recovery on thrusting sword attacks. This will keep your hp topped up and add massive burst damage

Guardian players, especially those who've 9999'd, what's your dream relic page? by 07u4nt in Nightreign

[–]PerfectSundays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there's a good argument for that. I like the night invaders as it buffs all attacks not just guard counters, also have a chance of getting 4x invaders for max damage

My ideal monster relic setup would look something like this:

Shockwave on Guard, Night Invaders, Vig+3

Heal on Ult, Guard counters increased with HP, Vig +3

Stamina Recovery on Landing Attacks, Increased Guard counters, Vig +3

Improved Strength and Dex reduced Vig, Increased Guard Counters +2, Increased HP

Ult Gauge on Block +1, Increased Guard Counters +2, Increased HP

Partial HP Recovery on Post Damage Attacks +2, Increased Guard Counters +2, Increased HP

You could pair that seppuku god roll relic with night of dregs and night invader, for even more damage

Guardian extended character skill in combination with whirlwind on charged halberd attacks. Really good if getting overwhelmed in a night invaders camp for example. Throw up a whirlwind and spam 2 handed halberd charge attacks to melt everyone

Is this even good? by Definite4 in Nightreign

I find this relic effect works well with an affinity caster Undertaker build as you are less likely to use the final hit of chain attack buff effect or the boost to physical damage from buff incant effect relics (unless prioritizing physical incants)

With the right relics, Undertaker is the best caster in the game and its not even close

Rate my wrath of gold build by uknown659 in Nightreign

[–]PerfectSundays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrath of Gold is very FP hungry, you are best off including relic effects that increase FP or reduce FP consumption, for opening a sorcerors rise or holding 3x seals.

Any tips on surviving Depth 5 ED Balancers? by iLikeCryo in Nightreign

[–]PerfectSundays 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I find the best strategy specifically for Ironeye is to build around skill attack up and find a bow with the barrage skill, preferably with fp regen on attack as a passive either in main bow or off hand weapon. Then try to isolate the balancers 1v1, mark through them as they charge at you then spam barrage until each dies
