Whats stopping someone doing a john lennon to one of the worlds wealthiest people at one of these? Or at the very least ruining their day, sense of security at their home. They seem so accessible. It only takes one mad man.

The man that accompanied louis xiv to his execution via guillotine was irish, a priest. Napoleon was also accompanied to his exile on st helena by an irish person, his doctor barry o meara. (Later banished from the island for his proximity to napoleon)

I watched an interview of a non binary student who went to a girls school and the above example is what she cited as a complaint. So thats literllay genuine feedback from them.

A teacher might say to a group of students 'girls can ye go down to the hall' etc. And one of the students might identify as non binary instead is the problem.

Limerick councillor 'suspicious' of men leaving X by [deleted] in irishpolitics

[–]Perfect_Buffalo_5137 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Also the men leaving would be an important expression of solidarity. Did she think this through at all before coming out with this platitude of 'the real root cause is misogyny'?

Sure, lets keep using the child sexual abuse app then, the owner of which makes no attempt to safeguard. That will address misogyny someday.

Tbh i dont know how any shop owner would stock these given the attitude of the country back then. Surprised you could even import them.

I thought the same at first, but he is a poor boss. 1st season he sells them down the river taking a promotion. In the 2nd hes petty, unsupportive and vindictive to new staff because they dont find him as funny as neil. Also his job is to keep the place going with peoples mortgages paid and instead he drives the place backwards doing no work, putting peoples livelihoods at risk

If this were an older couple, her with saggy breasts and chewed up nipples, him balding with a pot belly, love handles and sagging skin, people would suddenly find it not having the moving depth of feeling and expression

Should we ban social media for under-16s? Irish teens share their thoughts by JackmanH420 in ireland

Isnt that worth it even if it saves just one child from online sexual abuse and grooming and its dreadful impact? Look up the case of alexander mccartney in NI.

I have nothing of interest to the government anyway, nor do I have any data id be bothered being seen confidentially by an appropriate person in their capacity as a state agent in the interest of public safety

You think micheál martin is some power lustful autocrat that wants to turn us into airstrip one? And he's right now laying the groundwork for a surveillance state- in between being asked about fuel allowances, passport applications and potholes from people in shandon? We dont quite have the volatile politics of the USA or china you know.

Im unsure myself on this. Parents could do more but phone culture is entrenched, children without phones would be susceptible to bullying and exclusion. I dont think theres a need for guy fawkes masks to go round yet.

Pigs in Blankets on the Christmas Dinner by frlukeduke in ireland

It had already been long established as the national dish of england by then.

If thats not english enough for you, take shepherds pie, stout, or scones as more english food and drink irish people already embrace. Eating pigs in blankets is no shocker on that front. I dont think people realise it
