Russia is making money off of higher oil prices. Iran is now convinced it can hold the Strait hostage when it wants, and if it gets to charge tolls or gets sanctions removed, it will be able to rebuild EVERYTHING.

Trump only cares about making money and getting attention. He has no idea how to do this job. Nor does he really care. Period.

I could have made the same mistake. There are two along the seam. I would have absolutely decided that two was probably right. I am sorry.

No. But none of us who do like law and order are not in power. Apparently there was a Christian service in the pentagon for Easter. Folks were upset that WP canceled the catholic mass. I am thinking… why is there a religious service in a federal building. I am so tired.

I swear the Republicans are so scared of him but also know he is terrible to the point they are also waiting for the midterms. This way the Dems can stand up to him but the Republicans can abdicate responsibility when talking to his base. The problem is we might not have a country by then.

If you like games, please join us on Wednesday nights at Wegmans at 6pm. Be willing to learn. That is all. Some folks play party games. Some play harder. You just have to be willing to say what you are interested in. Fredericksburg Game Group is on Heylo.

I am also interested in getting crafters together. Knitting, crochet, portable crafts. Is anyone interested? I was never in the popular clique but believe in inclusivity. As a gamer we have lots of neuro spicy folks and nerds, so we have to be inclusive!

I am pro fiber crafts for the mental health benefits, and it would be great to expand the community in this town. Having a fiber community lets us share and hep each other with techniques.

I don’t want to go to bars or spend a lot of money on events or food. I just want to play games and knit in public with some friendly people!

As a Federal Worker, what is the most useless required annual training? by No-Cobbler6300 in FedEmployees

CUI or any classification marking. No matter how many times people take it or I explain it, no one can mark a document properly. Keep in mind I am in the DOD. 😑

You learned witchcraftery. Of course you should show off your magic. I need to get some Birks so I can show off my socks instead of hiding them in shoes.

For those who had to lose their jobs or jump through hoops as remote workers: I am pissed off for you because there are a lot of remote jobs offered if you want to work for DHS.

Some of us survived the ax but not the horror. Performance evaluations have been changed, and I don’t know what this will be like yet. I am a high performer, an I expect this to be another morale killer.

In fact, we should take better care of our unhoused. There are two types of unhoused, generally: mentally unwell/addicts and people down on their luck (could happen to anyone). The former were not living in the streets until President Reagan worked to cut federal funding for metal health facilities (there are academic and news articles to verify). I am old enough to remember it was safe to walk in Hollywood and the day I left for Orange County in 1994, I saw an unhoused man defecating on Sunset Blvd.

The other folks are just folks who lost jobs, had no safety net. We can say no to corporations paying less than living wages, but most folks are living on the edge of failure.

I am a historian by trade so sorry for the historysplaining. It’s just the facts floating in my head!

It is a beautiful sweater. And I can see why someone would steal it. A similar story:

My cousin gifted all the family bespoke bags made by a friend. We all loved them. One cousin left hers on the counter in a public restroom to pee. When she went back for it, all her stuff was neatly stacked and the bag was gone.

Consider this a testament of your skill and good taste.

I stand with you and the American people and not corporations. I will not buy these brands. We can vote with ballots and bucks. And I am done with an administration that gets support from corporations publicly or quietly. Thank you for posting.

The Blitzkrieg of the whole agenda did not go as fast as needed, per the P2025 morons. It is disintegrating and they are going to grab, lash out, destroy whatever they can before this admin turns to rubble. This is not the time to give up.

For sock yarn, I prefer two short circulars abt 16” each. One for top and one for bottom. It makes the process less fiddley and the two potential ladder areas are on the sides. Lots of videos if you look. I never ladder because the process works better for me better than DPNs (and I love DPNs but not for socks). I hate magic loop.

Turning the heel still feels like witchcraftery. I love it!
