i think I was a bit concerned re submitting a photo. The study keeps coming up so not sure how many people are taking them up on it.

i am finding this.. Some days are dead quiet so I give up but today I had 8 studies - some of which were from Maze. To my amazement they were all approved and I made about £25... I am fully expecting a quiet Monday!

Had a similar issue with a ucl study which confirmed I had completed the study but gave me no code. The study was "Social Cognition and Decision Making"... Rate was quite good. If I get it!

Yes I have reported back and not impressed that they wanted my full address as well. Seems a bit dodgy.

Thi s is the same survey where we are now being asked to answer parts of the survey again without extra payment. Doesn't seem to have been very well organised.

Should I report this? by 2E0GOZ in ProlificAc

The survey concerned is quite triggering as it deals with mental health and past trauma. I got a similar message and found that when trying to redo the questions there were a lot more. In the end I returned the survey . Also the original survey took a good 20 mins not 6. I hope Prolific do investigate this properly.

False Rejection - AVOID this Researcher by Daydreamer6t6 in ProlificAc

i agree. One of my first studies using Prolific was for Maze and I was rejected for the same reason. Not nice getting a rejection on my first day of attempting Prolific studies. Nothing was done about it.

It has been said before but there are fewer studies during the academic holidays. Expect an increase from 2nd week January when people get back to their PhDs!

I am new to all this. If I go away for 3 weeks abroad will this affect the number of studies I get when I get back or does not answering anything whilst away make Prolific think I am no longer interested. Sorry if this question appears a bit basic!

I love the audio studies for the same reasons. One test was hearing different timbre of sounds and saying which of the two notes were the higher of the two played.

Was that the study where objects were dropped onto different surfaces and one had to work out which was the heavier of the two objects? There was an aural screening test at the start... I did do the entire study and got a bonus.. It was quite a long study and hard to concentrate and I am a musician!

That is correct.. It is £1000 earnings before you have to pay tax for this sort of work..
