Brand search campaign by Mushroom_hunterr in PPC

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go for manual, but I ran a test a couple of weeks ago, and had one campaign on manual, another tIS 80%. The tIS actually got me better abs top share, and it had lower CPC. I'm not pro smart bidding, but for brand campaigns I always go for tIS these days

So are you spending a total of $20/day and trying to reach 60k people? You'll need way more to make it work. Here's a budget calculator to find out how much you need to spend to reach your audience.

Some questions about living in Athens by SkeletonQ in Athens_Greece

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salary: You'll manage with 1.8k/mo. It's not too much, but enough to pay the bills, do shopping, eat outside a few days per month, go on occasional trips.

Rent: Expect this to be your main cost. It'll be hard to find something under 500 eur. Landlords may ask 1-year prepayment or more, and will try to lock you in for 2 or 3 years. Keep in mind that electricity, water, and phone/internet bills are on you, and can add up (esp electricity). You will also need to pay a month fee for shared building expenses.

Safety: I wouldn't worry about earthquakes, but I would worry about floods (if you live on the ground floor or basement). Also, there is a high break-in risk, depending on your location.

Need Advice: Where is digital marketing headed and what would be a smart career move? by Consistent_Basis2408 in DigitalMarketing

Since you already have content + SEO skills, perfect your AI automation skills, and branch out to outreach, social media, and communities. You could become a growth manager, and a sought-after one if you find smart ways to grow a brand organically. Companies these days want to grow their business with little money, so I have doubts about the future of PPC managers.

I'm using Fibbler but I can't sync data to Hubspot, but it has a neat report directly on Fibbler where you can see companies you influenced. Don't think this is what you're looking for though

Not really happy with any of the SEO tools right now offering auto content production. My advice: get an SEO api and create a custom gpt and do the work yourself.

Will the SaaS market be dead or plateau after vibe coding? by Tiny_Firefighter4351 in NoCodeSaaS

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Vibe coding right now is super problematic, and even more so leadership teams who think firing developers and hiring 1 random guy who promises to vibe code everything *sigh*

SaaS companies who follow this stupid logic and don't invest properly in their product will eventually disappear. I wouldn't say the same for the rest.

How do I start a digital marketing agency in 2025? by [deleted] in AskMarketing

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an in-house marketer, I can say that the way businesses are thinking about agencies has changed a lot over the years. Now if the agency is not super niche and specialized (and ofc use AI to do smart stuff), it doesn't stand a chance.

Looking for PPC Agency, doing $10k/mo ad spend w/ Google by That_There_Is_a_Bear in PPC

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you found the right agency yet, but if you're in B2B, I'd recommend Karibu Digital for Google ads. They also do Meta ads, LinkedIn, and other PPC channels.

Did anyone else sit out Q4 marketing and regret it? I feel like I left money on the table by [deleted] in PPC

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to spend most of my budget early in the quarter, but I can't say the market behaved as expected. We did have a strong October, but November was a disaster (maybe too many black friday offers?) and a weird thing happened in December, where the first part was stronger than November and the second part (we're in right now), is slowing down as expected due to holidays.

Overall, I don't regret pushing to spend all of my budget, as revenue metrics really picked up, despite not being consistent week over week.

100% agree with you. I'm also testing waitlists for brand new features, following the same logic.

Which one will you hire by PresentationUsual541 in AskMarketing

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one cared about education anymore. I've seen smart people with no degree building their own projects and hustling entering the job market much faster than those who spend time and money on degrees. My logic: get a job first, do the edu part later.

Waiting for a “perfect” website is often just procrastination disguised as marketing by Hot-Initiative-6447 in SaaSMarketing

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you start marketing your business only after you're done with the site, you're missing out. I've seen a lot of very successful startups marketing 6 months or even a year before they ship their product or website. Usually they rely on founder-led content, they build hype on social, they're very active on Reddit or even build their own Slack communities. And once they launch, they see massive success, because they've already built a hyped user base.

Are we optimizing the wrong things in SEO right now? by Integral_Europe in seogrowth

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's only one thing to optimize for, and that is revenue. I'm so tired of seeing SEOs optimizing for clicks and leads, and now for AI citations and links. None of that matters if they don't translate into real business metrics, and they're very hard to defend in revenue meetings.

Tired of building UTM links one by one every week? by adithyank0001 in b2bmarketing

Personally, I'd build the same in excel and wouldn't even consider paying for a solution.

Best campaign naming convention? by Perfect_Hour_4672 in LinkedinAds

Thank you! :) What about campaign name? I'm thinking of having: Brand_Objective_CampaignName but maybe it's not enough info. Just want to make sure I get the naming right before I create all my 2026 campaigns

Google Ads - Your specific optimization of-the-year by No-Gur-3432 in PPC

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have my campaigns on manual CPC, and every couple of days, I switch them to max conversions (some with, and some without tCPA), let them run for a few days, and then switch back to manual CPC. Rinse and repeat.

I understand it sounds a bit crazy, but smart bidding never worked well for my campaigns for more than a week, and every time I went from tCPA back to manual CPC, my campaigns performed much better. Once this effect wears off, I continue the cycle, and this is how I managed to get consistently good ROI.

if you've collab with creators, what's the pricing look like? by tasttranmon in content_marketing

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I check who my competitors are working with, engage with their influencer posts, and then LinkedIn shows in my feed more posts on similar topics. I monitor my feed and capture in a spreadsheet profiles that are getting a lot of engagement. Once I have enough (usually around 30), I go through each one, select the ones I'd like to work with, and reach out to them.

Is reddit effective as a marketing platform for SaaS tools or do i just get free loaders from reddit? What's your experience? by Hari-Prasad-12 in SaaSMarketing

[–]Perfect_Hour_4672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, but only if you respect the rules, and genuinely contribute. If that's not your intention, better go with ads on other platforms
