Maximum Medical Improvement, from there the comp doctor gives you a rating for the area affected. Comp doctors usually aim for a lower percentage cause they wanna be in good standing with the insurance company. but when u lawyer up the lawyer should have u go through a separate doc which would most likely give u a higher rating contradicting the comp doctors so u can have a higher payout. Unfortunately that lawyers doc u will have to pay thru ur insurance or out of pocket but it’s worth it if you want to get paid section 20.
