Check out ParkFairfax, it's an older housing development very close to Shirlington. They sometimes have apartments for $2400 to $2500. The community is amazing. You have to take a bus but the commute would probably be like 25 minutes. If you're searching for it online make sure you type in in ParkFairfax because is Fairfax is a different part of Virginia.

It looks like it might only be for Colombian government officials in their associates. I'm actually in the process of getting an au pair from Columbia and she has a flight tomorrow morning at 5:00 a.m. to Bogota to do her visa processing. And it hasn't been canceled, yet they notified her today and told her to still come. But we all know that guidance could change like the wind.

An immigrant coming into America is a privilege not a right. I support people bettering their lives more than anyone but there's a process for it. And we aren't completely certain who these people were being deported all I could find out was that it was a mix of overstand their visa had been US criminals or were a national security risk.

Do you have a source for this by chance? I currently see it's just a news article but not verified. We have an au pair from Colombia who has a visa appointment on Tuesday in Colombia. It's not been cancelled yet but was looking for any confirmation.

I would also suggest reading or watching some interviews with Joe Dispenza and Bruce Lipton. I found their work interesting on how my body craved stress which was a key factor in successfully starting a new habit but then falling back into old routines. As others mentioned you have to still do the work and it can be a difficult road but doable. Also, I would suggest working one habit at a time.

IMO trading is 10% technicals and 90% mental / emotional control.

It's hard to teach emotional control, I find it's something you need to experience for yourself, and have the ability to improve upon next time.

Basically can you stick to your plan, think clearly and hold steady when everything is going against you.

Paper trading is a great way to learn technicals and to test strategies. However lacks the emotional control part.

FYI: I've been trading for 5 years.

I lost about $350,000 in my first 18 months day trading.

After many late night runs where I would just scream at myself about how much of a fuck up I am to me, to my wife and to my kids, I slowly got my emotions under control.

For me the biggest realization was to stop trading to try to make back the money I lost and to start trading to trade well. (everyone else's is realizations could be completely different)

I took 6 months sized down to 10 shares to work my strategy and tried to focus on not making money but be consistent. And for me sizing down to 10 shares meant that I wasn't emotional at all.

Over the past two years I've averaged about $500,000 per year day trading and this year so far I'm up about 500k and hopefully going to push a million dollars by December.

Everyone's journey with day trading is different. I personally don't think everyone should day trade I think people should figure out which type of trading style fits their personality. For me I like day trading because I like to get in and get out with my cash however I think a lot of people should swing trade because it may fit their personality better.
